Our mission is to enhance the minds of each group member with knowledge of an
operating system application and the benefits that it will bring to his/her field.
We will achieve team excellence and attain project objectives by adhering to the
following guidelines, which each team member has helped create and has agreed upon:
1. Accountabilities of Team Associates
♦Accountabilities will be defined by determining each member’s strengths and
likes and then comparing to the needs of the group. This information will be used
to delegate duties and improve the overall effectiveness of the team.
♦Team members will be punctual and honor all team commitments. Together we
will keep a positive attitude and strive to meet team goals and objectives.
♦Project responsibility will not fall on any one group member, but rather the team
as a whole.
♦By staying committed to the Joint Ventures mission we will produce a superior
quality of work.
♦Each team member will do his/her part to create and maintain a positive
♦Project research and workload will divided equally among team members.
2. Team Communications
♦Email will be the primary source of communication between team members. A
response is expected within 24 hours of receiving a message from another team
member. This can easily be achieved by making scheduled visits to your mailbox.
♦All associates will show other members appropriate respect by notifying
immediately if he/she will be absent or out of reach for any reason. If this should
occur, it will be understood that absentee is aware that teamwork will continue as
♦To ensure that each member stay informed and to keep the flow of ideas
constant, there will be a weekly meeting. Additional meetings will be scheduled
♦Associates will always be encouraged to submit feedback. Honesty and
tactfulness are expected.
♦Opinions and feedback will be welcomed by other members with respect.
3. Meeting Management
♦A team leader will be chosen for each meeting, and this responsibility will rotate
between each member to allow everyone to experience team management.
♦The responsibilities of the team leader include: leading each meeting, creating
and distributing any forms for the group before the meeting or when the meeting
begins, go over all topics and assignments for each member during the meeting
♦The responsibilities of the secretary will include: compiling notes after each
meeting and distributing what is necessary for each member to revue, creating
timelines for the group to ensure each deadline is met promptly
♦Our team will meet before every class on Monday and Wednesday at 10:00am in
front of the classroom in the Buruss Building of Kennesaw State University.
♦Every member has the opportunity to discuss their thoughts and opinions of the
project in these meeting, and may also go over the works in progress. All
members are required to listen and work together.
♦ Participation in discussions and completion of assignments promptly is

at each meeting.
4. Technical & Interpersonal Strengths and Development Needs
♦Associates are to provide a self assessment of professional and personal skills
which are helpful in the team, along with areas of improvement that are needed.
♦Associates are to partner with others in the group who posses strengths that may
help in a specific area.
♦Each member will provide help and guidance in any specific area needed by
another team member.
5. Giving and Receiving Feedback/Conflict Management
♦Team members must respect each other’s opinions.
♦ The team should focus on identifying learning opportunities and learn from the
people engaged the same experience for future reference.
♦ Each member must show willingness to make compromises when conflicts are
present are take the other suggestions into consideration; if their ideas are not
used in the present, they might be considered for future decision making.
♦In case of a conflict between two or more parties, there will be a neutral third
party available to mediate the situation.
♦If disagreement were to rise, the mediator will decide how to reach the ultimate
goal in the interest of both parties.
6. Decision making and problem solving
♦ All decisions will be made on the consensus of the group; the majority will be

7) Document Development and Production
♦To insure that all objectives of the project are met, a team leader will be chosen
each time a new objective is started and have the responsibility of making sure
every team member is staying on task and has completed his or her assignment
♦The job of team leader will be alternated among team members which allows
each person to experience leading a project
♦All finished projects and ideas for development for the project, will be examined
by all team members before submission of project is complete
♦The development of the project will be shared by all team members throughout
the entire process
8) Process and Quality Standards with Metrics
♦Each portion of the project will be reviewed by a team member other than its
originator to guarantee the analysis of the objective
♦To make sure all information is valid, source documentation will be required for
all informational data gathered for the completion of the project
♦Recheck quantitative data for accuracy for all aspects of project
♦Feedback for project should be included after the peer review process
♦ July 5 – Proofread Operating Agreement and assign research projects.
♦July 9 – Research due and work on report outline.
♦July 13 – Proofread the report and assign presentation projects.
♦July 16 – Record the video and discuss the website.
♦July 20 – Review website and video.
