                                   Payment Slip Instructions


The payment slip is a very handy tool for getting your rent paid on time. You will need to take a few
minutes to set up your payment slips. You can save the changes to the payment slips on your computer for
each rental unit and then update them at renewal time.
(Keep in mind, you will need to adjust the spacing with your space bar or delete button to keep. You will
also have to type in the correct information to correspond with your lease or rental agreement)


1.   Highlight or type over the Annie Rentpayer & social security number. Type over with your tenants
     name & social security #
     If you have two tenants repeat over Tommy Tenant or just delete his information.

2.   Highlight or type over the following areas and then fill in with your correct # amounts
    Rent
    Late Charge
    Additional per day
    Early payment discount

3.   Highlight or type over the address and fill in correct address of your property

4.   Highlight or type over Joe Landlords’s name and fill in with name checks should be made out to.

5.   Highlight or type over J.Landlords’s address and fill in with name and address payment should be sent
     to.

6.   At the the top of the payment slip is the month and year. Highlight this area and put in the month and
     year for the beginning of your lease.

7.   Highlight or type over the rent due on date and fill in with matching date as #6.

Now that your payment slip is set up with all your necessary information, the following payment slips are
very easy to produce.

8.   Save all the changes you have made.

9.   Highlight or select the entire payment slip with your cursor. You are going to copy this form 11 times.
     If you are unfamiliar with copy & paste, all you need to do after highlighting is go to your edit window
     and select copy. Then place your cursor on the blank space below your payment slip and select paste
     from your edit menu.

10. After repeating step # 9 to display a total of 12 payment slips, we need to correct the dates.

11. Just highlight the Top month and year and fill in the next month . Also be sure to match the Rent due
    month to the top of the payment slip.

12. Cut out each slip and staple on left hand side.

Now you have an entire year’s payment slips. If you have more then one property, save them by property
so the following year you just need to change the dates. If you get new tenants, you will need to change the
name and social security # as well as the dates.
