Academy for a game of badminton against players of
a similar standard? It will be competitive but friendly
and you never know, you may even win!
The 2010 – 11 Badminton Tournaments take place:
Saturday 16th October 2010:
9.30am – 5.00pm (Under 14 & Under 18)
Saturday 19th February 2011:
9.30am – 5.00pm (Under 12 & Under 16)
Saturday 19th March 2011:
9.30am – 5.00pm (Senior Event)

The sports centre tournaments are specifically designed to give players with very limited or no experience of tournaments
the opportunity to play in a competitive environment and it is not an appropriate event for senior competitive bonanza
players. Social players only! Please note that photographs may be taken at the event with the possibility of being used in
promotional material at a later date. If you do not wish your/your child's image to be used please tick here:
Please make cheques/postal orders payable to “Culture & Sport Glasgow”.
Entries should be sent to Badminton Development at 20 Trongate, Glasgow G1 5ES.
Please note that all events will be played in pools and all entrants are guaranteed more than one match. Closing date for entries
as follows: 1st October for U14/18, 4th February for U12/16 and 4th March for all Senior Events.
Please note that Glasgow Sport reserve the right to cancel an event if insufficient entries and restrict events if numbers are too
great. In the event of this monies will be refunded.
