The Spirit of the Game

Disc golf is played, for the most part, without the supervision of a referee or umpire. The game relies on the
integrity of the individual to show consideration for other players and to abide by the Rules. All players should
conduct themselves in a disciplined manner, demonstrating courtesy and sportsmanship at all times,
irrespective of how competitive they may be. This is the spirit of the game of disc golf.

The Rules of the Game

The consumption of alcohol in public places and the use of drugs is illegal!

All the courses in play are located on City Land and in public passive park space bordering community
subdivisions.

Media, Sponsor Representatives, City Officials, RCMP and spectators be on hand and frequenting the courses
during weekend.

Please respect the law, The KDGC and their sponsors by abiding by these laws and the PDGA Rules.

ALL COURSES, PARKING LOTS, ROADWAYS & PARK BOUNDRIES WILL BE ENCOMPASS THE RULES/LAWS FOR
THE ENTIRETY OF THE TOURAMENT – NO EXCEPTIONS!

NO SMOKING ON THE COURES AT ANY TIME!
There will be designated areas for smokers

Check in at Rose Hill West for all Pre-Registered Players
PDGA Rule 1.4.b – any player that does not check-in by the time specified shall forfeit their official place and
entry fee. Exceptions will be made only at the discretion of the Tournament Director.

Sign-Up for $5 Buy In Ace Pot - good all weekend, all holes! Split between Aces!

Noon - 3:30pm
Sign-Up and Check in for clinics - $20 each or $35 for both clinics

4:00pm – 5:15pm
Driving Clinic – hosted by David Feldberg

5:30pm – 6:45pm
Putt & Approach Clinic – hosted by Eric McCabe

7:00pm
Snap Discs Long Drive Competition - Open to all divisions with prizes for top distance in each division

These groups will be on hand to discuss the land, the animals that make it their habitat and how the sport of
Disc Golf is a compliment to it all! Bird Handlers will be on hand with species native to the area!


AFTERNOON
1:30pm
Pro Skins Doubles Match - $100 per Hole
FORMAT: Top 4 Pro Open players + Top 4 Pro Women for doubles team
             For the entire round, each team will have:
              one player that tees off on odd holes
              one player that tees off on even holes
              Once the tee shot is thrown, Alternate Shot is played to completion of the hole
Example: Pro Man decides he will tee off on odd holes. At Hole #1 he tees off. His partner then plays the next
shot, then he plays, then she plays….etc. Once the hole is completed, no matter which one of the players holes
out, the Pro Woman (his partner) will tee off on Hole #2.
