Recommendation for Overcoming Illegal Connection

       • Provide accurate data of illegal connections
       • Make human approach and early warning.
       • Give Formal Warning then followed by
execution by cutting off the illegal
connection, done together by Utility and
         Police
       • Process the illegal connection to be legal
connection after all charged and penalties
         paid by customer
       • Budget for illegal connection settlement will
         be bear by PLN

Slum Electricity Development Constrains

   • Approaches has no success comple-
     tely
   • People don’t have steady income
   • Low income is not enough for better
     way of living
   • Lack PLN’s budget to reconstruct
     network for slum area
   • Lack of Government budget to build
     slum area

                                          19
        Conclusion
• The Approach with regulation has no
  success completely
• Need New Approach to build slum area.
• Need budget to reconstruct distribution
  network
• Improve the income of people in slum
  area
