Close the paper bail located under the top cover. In the SYSTEM MENU set Path Options / Tractor to “Push”. Install the tractor in the “Front Feed” position. Select the front path LED on the control panel. Correctly install paper in the front tractor and press the key to load paper to top of form. Front Feed Push 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Verify push/pull slide is in the “pull” position. Open the paper bail located under the top cover. In the SYSTEM MENU set Path Options / Tractor to “Pshpl”. Install one tractor in the “Front Feed” position. Install the second tractor in the “Rear Feed” position. Press down on the levers on the rear of the tractor unit and tilt the tractor unit back at an angle as shown above. Select the front & rear path LEDs on the control panel. Correctly install paper in the front tractor and press the key. Paper will advance far enough to install in the rear tractors. Install paper in the rear tractors. Manually turn the square shaft to align the paper holes with the tractor pins. Verify there is no slack in the paper. Place printer On Line to engage rear tractors. When your work area makes using the rear path more convenient. Open the cut sheet support cover by pushing downward. Adjust the left and right paper guides for the size of the cut sheet to be used. Close the paper bail located under the top cover. Select the cut sheet LED on the control panel. Insert the sheet between the guides and into the printer. The feed rollers will pull the paper to top of form. A cut sheet may be inserted while continuous forms are presently loaded.
