                                                                         INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

  Models
           E345 SINGLE MICROPHONE SPLITTER (20-345)




  Can be modified to pass phantom power to input

  Outputs/Connections
  XLR type are connectors wired to IEC-268 Part 12 and BS5428 Part 5/3.

         Pin 1 – Gnd/Earth/0V
         Pin 2 – Signal positive/hot
         Pin 3 – Signal negative/cold

  E.M.O. Microphone Combiners combine two microphone level inputs to one microphone level output. Outputs A and B are
  transformer isolated from the input. The Direct Output is connected in parallel with the input XLR.

  Phantom Powering
  As standard, the unit will not pass phantom power to any of the inputs from the output. Although the unit leaves the fac-
  tory in this form, it is possible to allow this unit to pass phantom power from the output to one or both of the inputs. This
  is achieved by moving the header plugs adjacent to the “A” XLR (within the unit) to the desired settings. When the header
  plugs are placed on the two outer connections, the phantom is disabled. Swap the plug to the inner that is marked “A“ or
  “B” (on the rear of the p.c.b.) to allow phantom to be passed to “A” or “B”.

  Phase Reverse
  The phase reverse switch may be used by systems that may require a differential signal from a closely matched pair of
  microphones e.g. in public address noise cancellation scenarios.

  Technical Specification
  Frequency response:       20Hz to 20kHz +/- 0.25dB
  Input Level:              Maximum of +4dBm at 30Hz
