            2011 Sunshine Home Expo & Leisure Show Contract
We                                                                   (company name) hereby contract to exhibit in the Sunshine Home Expo & Leisure Show
presented by Chamber of Commerce taking place in the Cypress Centre – Stampede Park, Medicine Hat on March 4, 5 and 6 2011.
We confirm reservation of a                               sized booth and agree to pay to $                          . Under these terms and conditions the Medicine
Hat & District Chamber of Commerce is referred to as “THE CHAMBER.”

Please read the following contract and sign in the space provided.

1.     THE CHAMBER agrees to provide a standard booth or bulk exhibit space as reserved above to the Exhibitor.
2.     THE CHAMBER reserves the right to alter the Exhibition floor plan should the Management deem it necessary.
3.     It is agreed that the Exhibitor shall not sublet without written permission of THE CHAMBER.
4.     It is agreed that the Exhibitor shall not place any goods higher than the 4’ curtain on the sides or 8’ curtain in the back of the booth without the written consent of THE
      CHAMBER. (also known as the good neighbour policy)
5.    The Exhibitor that is wanting to hand out popcorn will need written permission from THE CHAMBER and an extra fee will be charged for cleaning of the carpets.
6.    The Exhibitor agrees to abide by all the regulations and rules adopted by THE CHAMBER, and the terms of payment as set out in the application form between THE
      CHAMBER and Exhibitor and shall be in the best interests of the Show, and agrees that THE CHAMBER shall have the final decision in adopting any rule or regulation
      deemed necessary prior to, during and after the Show and without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Exhibitor agrees to keep his/her Exhibit in a neat and
      clean condition and to do nothing to deter from the good character of the Show.
7.     During show hours, all electrical panels must be accessible to THE CHAMBER, and other contractor’s staff. These areas must be clear at all times, all boxes, storage bins,
        jackets, etc must be stored in your booth area away from the electrical panels/outlets. The Exhibitor will be responsible for any damages that might occur to Cypress
      Centre property, Superior Show Service Property or your company’s property.
8.    The Exhibitor will hold THE CHAMBER harmless from any damage, expense or liability, arising from any injury or damage to said Exhibitor, his/her agents, servants or
      employees, or to the property of the said Exhibitor occurring in the said building or to the approaches and entrances thereto, except by negligence of THE CHAMBER.
9.     If the Exhibitor fails to comply in any respect with the terms of this agreement, all rights of the Exhibitor hereunder shall cease and terminate. Any payment made by the
      Exhibitor on account hereof will be retained by THE CHAMBER as liquidated damages for breach of his/her contract and THE CHAMBER may thereupon rent said space.
10.   THE CHAMBER reserves the right to reject or prohibit exhibits which THE CHAMBER consider objectionable or to relocate exhibits or exhibitors when, in THE CHAMBER’S
      opinion, such moves are necessary to maintain the character and/or good order of the Show.
11.   The Exhibitor’s property shall be placed on display and exhibited at his/her risk and THE CHAMBER assumes no responsibility for loss or damage thereto. The Exhibitor
      shall assume all responsibility for loss or damage to his/her property due to fire, theft, flood, lighting, earthquake, explosion or any cause beyond the control of THE
12.    All goods shipped to this Show must be clearly marked with the name of the Exhibitor and the number of his/her space. Goods must not be shipped to the Show for
      shipping charges to be paid on the arrival as these will not be accepted by THE CHAMBER.
13.   THE CHAMBER assumes no responsibility for loss, stolen or damage to goods before, during or after the show.
14.   The Exhibitor is responsible for the placement and cost of insurance related to his/her participation in the show, and such insurance policy must be made available to
      THE CHAMBER upon request.
15.   A certificate of insurance is required from each Exhibitor at time of payment. The Certificate of Insurance must show a general liability of $1,000,000.00.
16.   The Exhibitor agrees that no display may be dismantled or goods removed during the entire run of the Show but must remain intact until 15 minutes after the closing
      hour of the last day of the Show. Upon failure to do so, the Exhibitor agrees to pay THE CHAMBER $200.00 and will not be allowed into the next Trade Show until fee is
      paid. The Exhibitor also agrees to remove his/her Exhibit, equipment and appurtenances from the Show building by the final move-out time limit, or in the event
      of failure to do so, the Exhibitor agrees to pay for such additional cost as may be incurred.
17.   In the event the building should be destroyed by fire or the elements or if any circumstances whatsoever should occur which might make it impossible for THE
      CHAMBER to permit Exhibitors to occupy the premises or if the Show be cancelled, the exhibitor shall pay for space only for the period the space was or could have been
      occupied by such Exhibitor, and THE CHAMBER will be in no way responsible for any claim or damage, which might arise in consequence thereof. A refund of all monies
      received from the Exhibitor will be made by the chamber in the event of this show not being held as proposed, and THE CHAMBER shall be released from any and all
      claims for damages or otherwise.
18.   Exhibitor is liable for any damage caused to building floors, walls, columns, or to standard booth equipment, or to other Exhibitors’ property. Exhibitor may not apply
      paint, lacquer, adhesive or other coating to building columns and floors or to standard booth equipment.
19.   The Exhibitor agrees to observe all union contracts and labour relations agreements in force, agreements between THE CHAMBER and official contractors serving the
      building or companies operating in the building in which the Show will take place and to observe the labour laws of the jurisdiction in which the building is located. The
      Exhibitor will not do anything directly or indirectly connected with his/her display which may be a violation of any law, by-law, ordinance or regulation of any
      government body or which may be in violation of the regulation of the Canadian Fire Underwriters Association or any other similar body.
20.   The Exhibitor shall undertake to maintain qualified personnel in its display during show hours and undertakes to remain OPEN AT ALLTIMES the Show is open. Each
      personnel must wear an official Exhibitor badge at all time.
21.   THE CHAMBER shall have access to the Exhibit at all times.
22.   The Exhibitor agrees that if goods are to be sold at the Show that they will comply with all necessary municipal by-laws.
23.   The Exhibitor agrees that no helium balloons will be used in their booths or given out. Failure to do so, the Exhibitor agrees to pay the Medicine Hat Exhibition and
      Stampede minimum $75.00 (seventy five dollars) an hour to remove.

We further agree to the terms and conditions of this Contract and acknowledge that such terms and conditions form the only contract between us.
