         Please follow the instructions and take the steps outlined soon after we upgrade to ensure a smooth
         transition of your data from ATBOnline into Quicken.




Steps to a smooth transition
We need you to follow these instructions in the order presented, and as described prior to the first time you
download account information from the upgraded online banking system. This update is time-sensitive and
must be completed after we implement the upgrade. Please wait until you have created two or three days of
transactional history after the upgrade is implemented before completing this update. You will have up to 30
days from the date we implement the new system to take this action. We apologize for the inconvenience and
we are here to help should you require assistance with this transition.


Note: These instructions are for Quicken 2008 – 2010. If you have Quicken 2011, please call 1-866-282-4932
before proceeding.


Step 1: Back up your current data in Quicken
   1. Choose File and click Backup.
   2. specify which file to back up and where you want the backup saved in the Quicken Backup dialog. Click OK.


Step 2: Log in to your ATBOnline account and download your latest transactions
   1. Log in to the old AtBonline banking system. to do this, you will need to open a new web browser and type in
      www.atbfinancialonline.com. The username and password to log in to the old system will remain what it is
      today. Download your transactions into Quicken.
   2. once the transactions are downloaded, accept them all into your Quicken account register. You won’t be able
      to proceed until you accept all transactions in the Downloaded Transactions tab.
   3. Repeat this step for each account (such as chequing, savings, and credit cards) that you use from your
      online banking.


You will only be able to download transactions from the old online banking system at
www.atbfinancialonline.com

Step 3: In Quicken, deactivate your account
   1. right-click the account in the Quicken Account List.
   2. Select Edit Account from the pop-up.




   3. Click Online Services. Click Remove Connection.




   4. Quicken will prompt you to confirm deactivation. Click Yes, then click OK.
   5. Repeat this step for each account (such as chequing, savings, and credit cards) that you use for online banking.


Step 4: Visit the new ATBOnline and reactivate your accounts in Quicken
   1. Log in to the upgraded online banking system either from the atb.com home page or by typing in
      www.atbonline.com to access your personal accounts or www.atbonlinebusiness.com to access your
      business accounts.




   2. Select the account you want to download information from.
   3. Initiate a download of an account file into Quicken (.QFX).
   4. When presented with the screen below, choose Use an existing Quicken account.




   5. Repeat this step for each account (such as chequing, savings, and credit cards) that you use from your
      online banking.


You are now ready to download into Quicken just as you always have. If you have any problems, please call us
