					                       Auxiliary Projections


1. A point A is 30mm above the HP and 40 mm in front of VP. Draw an auxiliary
    front view on an AVP inclined at 600 to the VP.
2. A point B is 30mm above the HP and 40 mm in front VP. Draw an auxiliary top
    view on an AIP inclined at 450 to the HP.
3. End of a line AB is 12 mm above HP and 30 mm in front of VP Distance between
    the end projectors is 45 mm. Draw its front and top views and determine its true
    inclination with HP and VP by auxiliary plane method.
4. End A of a line AB is 10mm in front of VP and 40 mm above HP. End B is 30
    mm in front of VP and 10mm above HP. Distance between the end projectors is
    45 mm. Draw the projections of the line and project an auxiliary front view on an
    auxiliary inclined plane (AVP) inclined to the VP at an angle of 450.
5. End A of a line AB is 10mm in front of VP and 40 mm above HP. End B is 35
    mm in front of VP and 10mm above HP. Distance between the end projectors is
    40 mm. Draw the projections of the line and project an auxiliary top view on an
    auxiliary inclined plane (AIP) inclined to the HP at an angle of 600.
6. Front view and top view of a triangular lamina are represented each by an
    equilateral triangle with projections of side AB perpendicular to XY line in both
    elevation and plan. Draw the true shape of the lamina if the side in the projected
    view is 50mm (PTU Dec 2002)
7. A regular pentagonal lamina JKLMN of 25 mm side rests on HP on its corner M
    so that the plane of lamina is inclined to HP at 450.Draw its projections by
    auxiliary plane method.
