SPECIFICATIONS FOR SUPPLY OF ITEMS PERTAINING TO GROUP-1 (A) & 1 (B)
(ATF hoses and spares for MH Asset)

(A) ATF Refueling Hose:-

         1 ½” aviation refueling hose according to EN 1361-C / (BS 3158) type C
         24 meter/30 mts/15 mts. ( lengths).

          S no. General:- “Yellow Band” aviation refueling hose.

      Required Important Features for ATF hoses:-

     a) Hose manufacturer’s warranty to be 5 years !

     b) The inner lining of the hoses to be seamlessly extruded, not lapped !

     c)    The reinforcement of the hose to be textile braided, not spirally wound !

           For good bending radii and good suction rates 3 textile layers are required (Type VHD)

    d)    The cover of the hose to be made of seamlessly extruded CR-rubber, not lapped !

    e)     Neon bands required on the cover for better visibility in the night
2.0 Marking
2.1. Each length of hose shall be at least at every 2 meters distance be marked with the
       following information:-
                                               a) Manufacturer’s Name / Brand name
                                               b) Standards followed
                                               c) Size (I.D.)
                                               d) Month and year of manufacture.
                                               e) Working Pressure
2.2. The Self closing quick release coupling shall be properly marked with make, size & class.
3.0 Packing
3.1    Each length of hose shall be properly packed within thick gunny bag and coiled to avoid
       damage during transit and twisting of hose. These should then be packed in a wooden box.
3.2    The self closing quick release coupling and ATF filling Nozzle shall be separately packed
      in a
       wooden box to avoid damage during transportation.
3.3    Sea worthy packing suitable for transportation by supply vessel to offshore platform.


4.0 Testing Standard
        Hoses: Testing shall be done as per EN 1361/C and other relevant codes & practices. The
       hoses shall be tested for burst pressure, fuel contamination, tensile strength and other
       applicable tests.

 (B) ATF Hose Nozzle Assembly:-

       1 ½” over wing refueling Non-Automatic nozzle for Jet-Fuel for over wing services with
       spout assembly dust cap assembly and ground wire assembly with stainless mesh strainer
       earthing clip and jack plug attached to 24 meter/30 mts/15 mts long hoses .These Nozzles
       must be compatible with above spec of Aviation hoses stated under (A).

                          Detailed Specification of items 1-6 of table
 1. ATF (Aviation Turbine Fuel) Hose
    Smooth bore, ATF re-fuelling hose, conforming to EN 1361/C           Working pressure: 20
    kg/cm2, Brass BSP (British Standard) threaded coupling (male at one end and Female BSP
    Swivel nut with seal at other end) with smooth shank and Aluminum half shell clamps at
    both ends.
   Note: Clamp shall be as per outside diameter of hose. The hose shank shall have an annular
   safety collar to prevent hose blow off.

2. ATF Hose- Tank to Pump(Without end fittings)
   Smooth bore, ATF hose, as per EN 1361/C Working pressure: 20 kg/cm2.
   Note: Clamp shall be as per outside diameter of hose. The hose shank shall have an annular
   safety collar to prevent hose blow off.

3. ATF Hose(2")- Tank to Pump
    with 2.5 " BSP span lock fittings(male/female) BSP, end to end length=114 cm .
   Smooth bore, ATF hose, as per EN 1361/C ,brass body
   Working pressure: 15 Kg/Cm2
   Note: Clamp shall be as per outside diameter of hose. The hose shank shall have an annular
   safety collar to prevent hose blow off.


4. ATF Hose- Console to tanks with end fittings and clamp)
   Self closing quick release coupling -2” RF flanged at one end and 2” male connection at the
   other

   Smooth bore, ATF hose, as per EN 1361/C, Brass body, Working pressure: 15 kg/cm2
   Note: Clamp shall be as per outside diameter of hose. The hose shank shall have an annular
   safety collar to prevent hose blow off.


5.Hose fittings
   For 50 mm ID Hose 2” NPT male at one end and at other end 2” NPT Female thread
   Aluminum/ brass body.



6.ATF Overwing Filling Nozzle
   Spout (outlet size) : 1 ½” , with 100 mesh strainer in spout & dust cap, Aluminum body
   ,black anodised, with hand lever. Additionally ground wire assembly with alternative jack
   plug and crocodile plug. Seals-viton
   Outlet:1.5” n.b. spout
   Inlet: 1.5” BSPP Female or 1.5” BSPP Male
   Weight(max)=3.5 Kg.
7. Hose Clamp: Hose clamp for 2" NB Hose-Max WP =20 KSC, SS304, two half shells with
suitable fastener.

8. Crocodile clamps: brass with Nickel coating, 140 mm Earth bonding clip
