                                        RESOLUTION

                                        concerning

        AUTHORIZATION FOR CENTRAL CONNECTICUT STATE COLLEGE TO PERFORM REPAIRS
        IN BUILDINGS SUPPORTED BY THE AUXILIARY SERVICES FUND TO ELIMINATE FIRE
                                  AND SAFETY HAZARDS


                                    February 2, 1979


    WHEREAS,    The Board of Trustees authorized the establishment of a Central
                Office Auxiliary Services Account (6901) to meet the cost of
                non-recurring major repairs to student residence, food service
                areas, and student centers, and

    WHEREAS,    Board Resolution #78-44 authorized Eastern Connecticut State

                College, Southern Connecticut State College, and Western
                Connecticut State College to expend money to eliminate fire
                and safety hazards in buildings supported by the Auxiliary
                Services Fund, now be it

    RESOLVED,   That Central Connecticut State College be authorized to make
                the following repairs in the amount of $34,700 for the purpose
                of eliminating fire and safety hazards.

                       Beecher Hall                  $ 3,600
                       Clarence Carroll Hall           7,000
                       Barrows Hall                      800
                       Samuel May Hall                 5,300
                       Gallaudet Hall                  6,400
                       Sheridan Hall                   3,000
                       Vance Hall                      2,800
                       Seth North Hall                 5,800
