Every organization wants to choose successful fundraisers for their group while providing a
useful product that will last for a long time to come. I’m certain that once you understand
the benefits of our unique program and products, your Gingerbread Kids parents and

center’s fundraiser!



What is Scentsy?

30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
      If your customer is dissatisfied with the product, it may be returned to the Consultant
      for exchange within 30 days of shipment.


Product support beyond the fundraiser
      My contact information is on each catalog and product so your customers know who
      to contact for product support and to place future orders or party bookings. New
      products are introduced monthly and new catalogs are produced each
      Spring/Summer (March) and Fall/Winter (September).


Repeat business for the next fundraiser
      Customers who purchase Scentsy products through your fundraiser will no doubt

How much money can Gingerbread Kids expect to earn?
When you choose Scentsy for your fundraiser, I will donate my commissions directly to
Gingerbread Kids, making a Scentsy fundraiser unique for your families and profitable for
the center.


Gingerbread Kids can expect 20% of sales in return.

Additionally, I will offer:
 $5.00 for every Scentsy Home Party, Basket Party or Online party booked
through the fundraiser (parties must be successfully conducted and have at least $150 in sales to qualify)

 10% of my commission from every Scentsy Home Party, Basket Party or
Online party booked through and held during fundraiser

 Weekly “Go-getter” certificates and half-price item awards for top-sellers -
staff included! (Awards can be redeemed toward any purchase except combination packs.)

GBK enrollee (excluding staff) with the most overall fundraising proceeds
will receive a Scentsy Buddy of their choice - FREE!

Appendix: Plan Details
Scentsy Parties:
 I will gift GBK $5.00 for each Scentsy Home Party, Basket Party or Online party booked through the
fundraiser that has at least $150 in sales. Booking requests are to be directed through the GBK Fundraising
Coordinator, and I will contact the Host directly to arrange and conduct the party. All regular host benefits &
responsibilities apply for parties booked through the GBK fundraiser.
 For parties booked through the GBK Fundraising Coordinator AND conducted during the fundraiser
window, I will contribute 10% of my commission from the sales of the party.
 Orders associated with Home Parties, Basket Parties or Online Parties qualifying for $5.00 gift and/or 10%
commission return but do not count toward the 20% commission return for the overall fundraiser.
 Hosts may choose to apply any pre-orders to the party’s sales for host benefits, or directly to the fundraiser
sales, but not to both.
        – Home Party – product demonstrations held at Host’s location of choice. (Parties may be held “open” for 5 days past
        home show date in order to finalize orders and collect payments.)
        – Basket Party – Host conducts the party with the “Basket of Scentsy Goodies”. Orders and payments are
        collected by the Host and turned in at party window end. This is a great option for busy families who cannot host
        a home party. (Parties may be held “open” for one week.)
        – Online party - Host conducts the party online through my website www.mbmccut.scentsy.us. Customers
        place orders through the site and product can be shipped directly to their home (shipping charges apply). This is a
        great way for family and friends who aren’t local to participate in and support the fundraiser! (Parties may be held
        “open” for the duration of the fundraiser.)


Note: Since I will be working directly with the host on their Scentsy Parties, the GBK Fundraising Coordinator
will not need to monitor or facilitate Home/Basket/Online party activities. I will report activities with the weekly
sales reports.

“Go-getter” Awards:
 I will track each week’s sales (Saturday – Friday) per GBK enrollee / staff member and the individual with the
most sales through direct orders, Home Parties, Basket Parties, or Online Parties will qualify for the week’s
“Go-getter” award.
 Direct orders and payments must be submitted to me through the GBK Fundraiser Coordinator by 8:00
p.m. on Friday to qualify for the week’s total.
 Scentsy Home Party & Basket Party sales will be credited to the GBK enrollee / staff member for the same
week in which the party is closed and orders, payments and supplies are submitted to me.
 Online party sales will be credited to the GBK enrollee / staff member for the same week in which the order
is placed (up to Friday, 8:00 p.m., CST.)
        – Weekly winners will receive a certificate with their name, sales, and profit total for the center AND a coupon
        for one (1) half-price item that can be used toward purchase of any single Scentsy catalog item (excluding
        combination packs). GBK staff and enrollees both qualify for this award and GBK will receive full 20%
        commission on the sale.
        –One GBK enrollee (excluding staff) will receive a Scentsy Buddy of their choice for producing the highest
        overall fundraising proceeds (not necessarily sales).

Appendix: Roles and Responsibilities
Scentsy Consultant – my role is to connect GBK supporters with great Scentsy products for a
Scentsational Fundraiser! I will provide (at no cost to GBK):
        – Facilitation of information sessions and product demonstration for GBK Staff and enrollee families
        – Product catalogs, order forms, information, and product support
        – Order processing, packaging, and delivery to the GBK Fundraising Coordinator
        – Facilitation of and supplies for Home Parties
        – Product samples and supplies for Basket Parties
        – Website for online parties
        – Weekly sales information and “Go-getter” awards
        – Scentsy Buddy award for overall highest proceed producer

 Gingerbread Kids Staff – your role is to promote the fundraiser, encourage GBK family participation and
assist me in the collection orders and payments, and distribution of orders to families. GBK responsibilities
are:
        – Organizing information sessions, generating excitement about the fundraiser and Scentsy product, and
        communicating fundraiser status updates to GBK families
        – Distributing fundraising tools (catalogs, order forms, etc.)
        – Collecting orders, payments, and booking requests and submitting to me for processing by deadlines
        – Distributing orders to families
        – Assisting in the collection of funds/cancellation of orders from declined payment methods (insufficient funds,
        declined credit/debit cards, etc.)
        – Distributing “Go-getter” certificates and half-price item awards
        – Distributing of Scentsy Buddy to overall proceeds winner, arranging photo-op with GBK staff and/or me
        – Assisting me in collecting any product or property such as samples, testers, etc. loaned for the purpose of
        promoting the product
        – Serving as a positive ambassador of GBK, Scentsy products and consultant, and the fundraiser in general

GBK enrollee families – your role is to promote the fundraiser by introducing your family, colleagues, and
friends to the Scentsy product. GBK family responsibilities are:
        – Representing the Scentsy product accurately and ethically through catalogs, information packets, and/or
        product samples
        – Informing customers of the many ways they can participate (direct orders, Home, Basket, or online parties),
        and ways they may pay for purchases (cash, check, credit or debit card)
        – Collecting orders, payments, and/or booking requests and submitting to the GBK Fundraising Coordinator for
        processing by deadlines
        – Distributing orders to customers in a timely manner and handling the products with care
        – Assisting in the collection of funds/cancellation of orders from declined payment methods (insufficient funds,
        declined credit/debit cards, etc.)
        – Protecting sensitive customer information such as credit or debit card numbers from exposure, theft, etc.
        – Assuming responsibility for the care and return of any Scentsy Consultant property such as samples, testers,
        etc. loaned for the purpose of promoting the product
        – Serving as a positive ambassador of GBK, Scentsy products and consultant, and the fundraiser in general

Appendix: Proceeds Details
Distribution of fundraising proceeds:
 All sales and commission proceeds will be reported weekly during the fundraiser, and tallied up at the end
of the fundraiser. Once all orders and payments from direct sales and parties are finalized, I will generate
final reporting and arrange proceeds distribution. Target for proceeds distribution is March 14.
         – Proceeds from direct sales – 20% of all sales, once orders have been received and payments successfully
         processed.
         – Home/Basket/Online Parties – $5.00 gift for each event booked through the fundraiser, was conducted, and
         generated at least $150 in sales. An additional 10% commission on parties booked through the fundraiser and
         conducted during the fundraising window. (Future parties booked at these parties do not qualify for gift or
         commission proceeds.)
         – Direct patron contribution – contributions of cash, property, or merchandise made toward the fundraiser
         directly but not associated with the purchase of Scentsy products do not qualify toward the 20% commission
         total, “Go-getter” awards, or Scentsy Buddy award for overall proceeds.
         – Product returns/order cancellations – Values of order cancellations and products returned for refund (for
         reasons outside of warranty) within 7 days of receipt will be deducted from the fundraising totals.

Note: Orders placed or parties conducted through any Scentsy Consultant other than myself will not be
considered in the fundraising totals, “Go-getter” awards or Scentsy Buddy overall proceeds winner.
