E.   Unfinished Business

     1.   Discipline List Revision—K. Neufeld requested that if any of the departments have changes to the
          discipline list, email either K. Neufeld or M. Taylor by the end of this week.

     2.   Bylaws and Operating Agreement Revisions—Academic Senate requested that the Curriculum
          Committee review the Bylaws and Operating Agreement. The two items were viewed on the screen.

          a. Fresno City College Curriculum Committee Bylaws. Discussion. A motion was made to accept
             the Bylaws as amended (attached). Approved.
                I. Increase the number required for a quorum from “Nine” to “Twelve”.
                II. Include which Roberts Rules of Order the committee follows. Insert: “The current
                        edition of Roberts Rules of Order Newly Revised….”
                VI. Add “unless a proxy is sent.” as follows:
                        First paragraph: “.…vacant at the conclusion of the third meeting unless a proxy is sent.”
                        Second paragraph: “….have his or her seat declared vacant unless a proxy is sent.”
                Following VI., insert: “VII. Proxy voting is allowed by notification to the Chair.”
                XII. Correct Special Studies numbers from “77” to “177-377”.

          b. Fresno City College Curriculum Committee Operating Agreement. Discussion. A motion was
             made to accept the Operating Agreement as amended (attached). Approved.
               I.      A. Change the last sentence to read: “….shall be made to the Board of Trustees
                        through the Educational Coordinating and Planning Committee (ECPC).
               II. Insert: “D. If a new academic division is created, it shall be immediately entitled to
                        representation within the committee.”
               III. A. Change the first sentence to read: “….a member elected by the Committee at the last
                        scheduled meeting of the academic year. Given that the….”
               III. C. Change to read: “The Committee shall meet during the academic year as
                        announced by the Chair.”
