   With the development goal of the Vietnamese textile-

     industry from now to 2020, namely, to increase val-
                                                                                     ue-added and
     competitiveness, to integrate into the regional and
                                                     world economy, to gradually
         escape from the subcontract plight, and to retain
                                                                         its role as a key,
 cutting-edge export contributing to the national eco-
                                                            nomic growth, the issue
   of prime importance to tackle is to develop the sup-
                                                                          porting industry.
