                      Part 1: Setting Up Your Goal
 “Programming Your Brain to Go Out And Find The Recipe To Achieving Your
                                  Goal”

Unlocking the power within yourself is as simple as following a universal law. When you
know how to do it, then you can do it to create anything in your life.

Train Your Brain is a two part process where we use a universal law to set up and create that
that you desire.

The First Part is to clearly define what it is that you want to achieve. This will instruct your
highest intelligence to go and send you the step by step recipe to achieve this.

The Second Part is to weed out the filters that stop this recipe from coming to your
consciousness. The recepies continue to come to you, however you continue to find reasons
for not following through. These are your excuses, Part 2 will work on redefining mental
blocks you have so that you can follow through and achieve your desires.

Before We Start
The technologies that are to be uncovered in this system will prove to involve more then the
brain. As such, ‘Train Your Brain’ in the context of this system is just a phrase we are using to
unlock very powerful universal laws.

From the day you were conceived you started your journey call life. As part of this journey
your physical body grew from infant to the person you are now. Change happened all along
the way. On the day to day basis you didn’t notice this growth, mostly because it was so
minute and you were not monitoring the growth.

‘Train Your Brain’ is part of the evolutionary process. It’s all about taking a period of time
during the journey of your life, and putting conscious and continuous effort to create a
significant change so you can create the life of your choice. Along the way you will allow the
negative handbrakes to melt away and you will uncover a passion that guides you to create
a life of your choice.

As you progress through this system you are continuing to grow, sometime you might not
even be aware of the minute changes. As you do the exercises as set out in Part 2 of ‘Train
Your Brain’, you will look for this growth. Sometimes you will notice it, sometimes you will
notice it later. It doesn’t matter. Just noticing the progress is very satisfying and keeps you
motivated.

As with any journey, there is a beginning and an end. You are going to begin with the end in
mind. During this journey you will empower yourself so change is easy and exciting.

             With every journey there is a beginning and an end. Part 1 of ‘Train
             Your Brain’ starts with the end in mind.

One of the major reasons people give up on their goals is because they are not aware of
these minute changes that are happening. One minute change might not be noticeable, but
string together a whole lot of these changes and you will notice the difference.

What you will discover is that once you have put into place the new mindset of
achievement, your future will be filled with continued and exponential fulfillment. This
whole system will create a unique way of thinking. This thinking will automatically create
goals and the mindset will naturally follow the steps without conscious effort. It is just as if
we are creating a pathway to success. Once created, walking down this path is easy and
getting to the end is significantly faster because you don’t have to create it again.

The Universal Law Of ‘Train Your Brain’
With Part 1 of ‘Train Your Brain’ you to go into one year into the future with your mind. You
see yourself as if the best case scenario worked out. This becomes your goal. Once set, Part
2 of ‘Train Your Brain’ will keep you motivated until you achieve this goal. It takes the
universal law that if you want to achieve your goals you need to work continually and
consistently towards their achievement.

Think of it this way. If you want to get fit, just exercising once will have a minimal effect on
achieving your goal of getting fit. You need to
   1. Start, which is the first step towards achieving your goal
   2. Continue to work through until you achieve the goal.

                  People over estimate what they can achieve in a year
                  and under estimate what they can achieve over a
                  period of 10 years.

What If You Can’t Clearly Define Your Goal
What you might find is that the first time you set your goal, it might not be clear. You might
have the perception of the destination and not so sure about the journey. Not to worry, this
system is designed so that you discover your passions in life so it becomes a pleasant
journey.

Like an artist. He is so passionate that he goes deep down into his creativity. He allows his
conscious to be taken over by his greater intelligence and gets lost in this world – he goes
into the zone. It’s in this world that he creates from an inspiration that the conscious can’t
comprehend. When he emerges from this world and looks at what he has created.

You know when you have been in this world when you get lost in time. In other words, you
become unaware of time. You just work away from your higher self. ‘Train Your Brain’ is a
step by step process to help you find your passions, your unique talent. At first, you might
have a bit of baggage to get rid of, this will happen as you continue to work away. Then you
start to notice the power of this system and you become so excited.

Why We Need To Set Up Our Goal – Part 1
In order to achieve something we need to know what it is that we want to achieve. When
you go on holiday, you first need to determine where you want to go. Then, once you have a
clear picture you then work towards organizing your trip.

This is what Part 1 of this system is. It’s an easy step by step process where we are going to
use 10 Power Steps to create and then clarify our goal. We dig deeper and analyze this goal.
This creates motivation for you to take the most important step, starting.

And by the way, the fact that you have started with this goal means that you have already
started.

What if you don’t know what your goal is?
Not to worry, this system is designed so as you continually work towards your goal, you get
even more clarity of what you want and with this you can develop your goal.

Part 2 of the system you consistently come back and review your goals.

If you are not sure of your goal, just think of what it is that you think you want and start
working towards. It’s better to start now then to procrastinate and never start.

If your goals change, fantastic, you are one step closer to taking control of your life.

Part 1 of Train Your Brain - Goal Setting:
This is an exercise that should take about 20 -30 minutes. You will be taken through 10
Power Steps to design you goal.

In Part 2 of ‘Train Your Brain’, we continually come back to this exercise. This is part of the
review process to keep you on track.

It also provides opportunities to work towards smaller goals along the way to achieving your
big goal.

       The 10 Power Steps To Designing Your Destiny
                  Through Goal Setting
                            Power Step 1: What is your goal?

         If you don’t know what it is that you want to achieve, how will you ever
         achieve it!!!


Everything you want has a starting point. It starts with thought. This thought comes from
your desire, a desire for something you don’t already have.

When this desire first bubbles to the surface, you get very excited. It might even motivate
you to take action. However, if this desire is not nurtured it will not sustain your motivation
for long.

Setting goals is the first step you take towards nurturing this desire. Think of your desire like
a seed, if you plant and nurture it, it will grow into a strong tree. Where you plant this seed
is important. You want to plant it in a rich soil that will assist in its growth. ‘Train Your Brain’
is a system where your desire is the seed, and setting the goal is the soil you decide to use
to nurture and grow this seed.

Part 2 of the ‘Train Your Brain’ system concentrates on nurturing your tree as it grows. We
weed out the weeds and feed the seed as it sprouts into a strong tree.

The Conscious Mind And The Unconscious Mind
You’ve been blessed with a conscious mind and an unconscious mind. These are two very
different minds and have very different functions.

Your conscious mind is as it suggests, that which you are consciously aware of. Your
unconscious mind is working away in the background and you are not aware of this. As an
example, are you consciously aware of your heart beating all the time?

The function of the conscious mind: The conscious mind is your instruction center. This is
where you make decisions. It’s analytical, it makes judgments of what is right and wrong.
This is the part of the process that you have control over.

As information gets delivered to your conscious mind from your unconscious mind, this
information goes through filters, filters such as your belief system, your value system etc.
These filters delete, distort and manipulate the information. This is why two people will
make different decisions from the same information.

Donald Trump sees opportunity when walking down the street that you don’t. This is even
though you have access to the same information as it bubbles up. It’s just that your filters
have deleted, distorted or manipulated the information delivered from your unconscious
mind and Donald Trump’s filters allowed the information to filter through.

The function of the unconscious mind: This can also be known as the universal mind, higher
self, higher intelligence, god etc. This mind is connected to everything in the universe. This is
why you have the ability to choose your destiny, because you have access to all answers.

The unconscious mind does not make the distinctions between right and wrong. All it does
is take the instructions you have given it from your conscious mind and it works away to
deliver results from these instructions.

Think of it like the internet. The search engine is the conscious mind and the World Wide
Web is the unconscious mind. The search engine sends instructions as to what data needs to
be brought up.

When You Set Goals, You Instruct Your Search Engine To Find The Recipe To Achieve The
Goal
By setting a goal you are giving your unconscious mind instructions. You program yourself.
Your mind is like a very sophisticated search engine. It responds to the programming you
give it.

Your unconscious mind then goes to work to deliver upon these instructions. As the data
surfaces, it goes through your internal programming or filtering system through to your
conscious mind.

The unconscious mind is constantly sending information through your filtering system. This
is why sometimes you will be walking through the shops and inspiration all of a sudden hits
you. Answers to your instructions have managed to flow through your internal programming
and filtering system so you become consciously aware of them.

Clearly Defined Goals Deliver Better Results Faster
The more clear your goal, the more likely you are to achieve it. If you search for cooking
recopies in the World Wide Web, you will get more junk then searching for pizza recipes
using goat’s cheese.

In Part 1 of this system, the 10 Power Steps will make your goal crystal clear. Doing this has
a substantial benefit then not going through the 10 power steps.

The way you program your mind is the same for everyone. It’s a universal law, just like
gravity is. All programming starts in your conscious mind. You make decisions and pass this
to the unconscious mind which then goes to work to solve your problems.

How You Do Power Step 1:
Go into the future one year from today. Imagine yourself as if you have achieved that one
thing that is most important to you in your life right now. What is it? Write it down as this
becomes your goal.

     What is the most important thing you want to achieve?

Write Your Goal The Way You Want It To Happen

     When you write your goal, write what you want, not what you don’t want.


Important Point: When you write your goal, write it as you want it to happen.

Because your unconscious mind does not make any judgments, it cannot process a negative.
So when you write a goal that you don’t want to be poor, what it is sorting and delivering to
you is poor. This is why you will never be rich. Writing the goal that you want to be rich is
the right way to do it.

When Oprah was asked what her goal was around business, she responded that she wanted
to dominate her industry. As a result of this goal she has become one of the richest women
in the world by dominating in her industry.

However, when asked her goal around her weight, she responded that she didn’t want to be
fat. As such, she has spent most of her life battling her overweight issues.

What If You Are Not Sure Of Your Goal
If you don’t know what your goal is, don’t worry…. If you thought you knew what it was that
you wanted, what would this be? Write this down as your goal. This is a good starting point.

When I first started with this system I wasn’t 100% sure what my real goal was. I had a
concept and continued to work away till I found the real goal.

Is Your Goal Realistic
Before we go any further, is the goal realistic or not?

One of the biggest reasons for people not achieving goals is because they are unrealistic
when setting their goals.

People often can fall into two groups when setting goals. One group are those who set
unrealistic goals and the other group are those who set goals that are too easy.

Too easy: If you set a goal that is too easy you might accomplish it in a week. Just setting a
goal is so powerful, using the 10 power steps makes it so much more powerful. So if your
goal is to increase your income by 10% in the next 12 months, a job opportunity might just
present itself next week that makes you accomplish this goal.

Awesome if this happens. However, what if it takes a year. Still awesome that you have
achieved the goal, however lets accelerate what you are capable of by creating a realistic
but challenging goal.

Too hard: The other group of people are those who are not being realistic. A few years ago I
was at a NLP training. We were asked to write down our financial goal. My friend wrote
down that he wanted to have a trillion trillion dollars. He was serious and this was his goal.

When I told him that there wasn’t even that much money in the world it didn’t deter him.
It’s no wonder that he has taken to drugs. He was living in a world of delusion, and it
became tangible through his drug use.

If your goal is to earn $1,000,000 in a year and you’ve never earned over $50,000, perhaps
you might be a little unrealistic. There is such a huge mind shift you need to go through to
accept a million dollars. So much so that it might shock your body. You might even physically
feel this pain.

Guide For Setting This Goal
So when setting this goal, think about what would make you happy if you were to achieve
this goal. Make it a little challenging but not too challenging. Don’t worry if the goal is not
the ultimate goal, it shouldn’t be. It’s just a part of the journey of your life. The beauty of
this system is that as you work away you might realize that you are well ahead of achieving
your goal. Awesome, you just reset it.

For instance, the first time I set my goal it was to increase my passive income to $70,000 per
annum. $70,000 per annum was only a fraction of the big picture, it was challenging to me
at the time. As I worked away and as the momentum built I realized that I would easily
achieve this goal well within the time I had allotted. So I reset it to a passive income of
$100,000 per annum and gave myself 6 months on top of the original time. The momentum
became so great that achieving this goal came even faster.

I achieved the new goal within the time I has set for the original goal. This gave me
encouragement to aim for that ultimate goal of living the life of choice with abundance.

So set your goal to be challenging, not too easy and not too unrealistic. If you find that you
have been too easy (as I did), then reset it higher. If you find it has been too unrealistic, rein
it in.

Now that we know what it is that we want to achieve (or think what it is that we want to
achieve), lets dig deeper and find out why you want to achieve this goal…

            Power Step 2: When do you want to achieve this goal by?

                        A goal without a time limit is just a dream.

Life is a journey from when you are conceived till the day you die. Along this journey you will
want to accomplish many different things. The sooner you tick off one of the things on your
list, the sooner you can go about achieving your next mission.

Knowing when you want to achieve a goal by is very important. For most of us, becoming a
millionaire is very possible however if you have never earned over $50,000 and you want to
become a millionaire next week, this is less likely then if you give yourself five years.

What happens:
When you give your subconscious instructions it goes about delivering the results to you. If
you don’t give it a time line, it will continue to work away, perhaps years after the goal has
ceased to become important. Your subconscious does not reason. It just works away until it
delivers or its instructions gets overwritten.

By setting a time limit you become more focused. You have prioritized this goal as more
important than some of your other dreams. As such, you universe will put more emphasis
on finding the solutions for you.

For instance, if you goal is to become an elite athlete, your focus will be on training. You
know that you only have a limited amount of time to achieve this goal. After all, how often
has the fastest man in the world been over the age of 40?

Things to be aware of:
This is a challenging step. The reason for this is because people overestimate what they can
achieve in a year and underestimate what they can achieve over a period of 10 years.

How realistic is your goal: If your goal is to date a supermodel and you have never dated a
girl before and you work part time in a McDonalds store, recognize that there is a journey
you need to go through before a supermodel will be attracted to you. Even if you are the
best looking guy in the world, a supermodel is not interested in a guy who works part time
at McDonalds. She became a supermodel so she can live a rock star lifestyle, something you
can’t provide for her right at this point.

It doesn’t mean you can’t date a supermodel, what you will discover is you need to set up a
lifestyle that a supermodel will fit into. This takes time. The amount of time depends on you
though.

How to do this step:
Have a look at how much of a challenge this goal is to you. What is a realistic time frame
that is ambitious, not ridiculous? Give yourself at least a year to accomplish this goal.

There might be times where you want to achieve a goal within a year, such as reach certain
sales targets in the next 6 months. Then make this the time limit.

Be ready to re-set the goal as you get close to achieving your goal
As you move towards your goal, you will become aware if you are on target to achieving it,
ahead of the target or there is little chance of achieving it.

You always want to be assessing where you are now compared to where you want to be.
What this means is that you should revisit this goal every month. Then you can either reign
it in or aim higher.

If you are to fly from Sydney to Los Angeles, the plane is constantly going off target. The
pilot is constantly assessing the progress of the flight and when the plane has drifted off the
path, the pilot re-directs the plane to ensure it reaches the right destination.

This is also true for your goals.

                            Power Step 3: Sensory Rich Goals

           You get what you ask for! If you’re not specific enough you’ll also get things
           that can work against that which you asked for.

We’re bombarded with 2 million bits of information every second. This information comes
to us through our senses. These senses are what we see, hear, smell, taste and touch. All of
these senses are working in unison all of the time to create the experience you feel in any
given moment.

One of the reasons for people not achieving their goals are because they are not clear
enough on what they want. If you don’t know what you want, how will your universe deliver
this to you?

The way we become clearer is to take ourselves to a point in time in the future when we
have achieved the goal and then cycle through all our senses. This gives us clarity and
specifies what the goal means to us in great depth and detail.

An Example
The first time I applied all my senses when setting up a goal was when I created a goal to
travel around the world. At the time, I didn’t have a job and I didn’t have any money saved
up to travel with.

As I sat at the computer and typed out in great detail what my goal was, I included all the
senses. I saw what I could see, I heard what I heard etc… I even went into great detail to
estimate how much money I needed to save.

One of the greatest things about setting a goal is that we set it with our conscious mind
which is a fraction of what we are capable of. As we go about creating it, we assume how it
will play out in our conscious mind. But when we dig deep into our universal mind, we
access a greater intelligence and the goal often comes in ways that are beyond
comprehension in our limited conscious mind.

In my case, it took about 2 weeks from creating my goal before it came to fruition – my
evidence step. I was offered a job overseas in the country of my birth. In my universe things
had aligned with my contacts to create a means of supporting the goal. As part of the
contract, I negotiated an around the world air ticket and a salary that would give me money
for my travel. Within a few short months I began my round the world trip that was my
sensory rich goal.

Crystallize Your Goal
An artist will create an outline of the picture he is planning to paint. As this picture starts to
take shape, he will fill this with greater detail. A face can create the mood on the canvas
with a smile or a frown, color can be added to create a greater effect.

Part of accessing you senses is to go into the future as if you have already achieved your
goal. This will give you an outline of the goal you wish to create. As you cycle through your
senses, you add the details that crystallize the picture of your goal.

There are 2 million bits of information that comes our way every second of the day. We’re
only able to process 134 of these bits of information with our five senses. So when we go
into the future and create a goal and cycle through the senses, we are filling in as much as
we can of the 2 million bits of information. More importantly, we fill in that 134 bits of
information we are able to process.

It’s this creation of your goal and filling in the details that paints the picture on the canvas of
your mind.

You Get What You Ask For
You get what you ask for. If you are not specific enough you will also get things that work
against that which you asked for. This will detract from the experience you were looking to
achieve when you set up your goal in the first place.

Recently my wife decided that she wanted a specific job that paid her a certain amount of
money. This was her goal and she took action to achieve the goal. The universe was aligning
itself until it delivered that that she had asked for. She got the job and she was only $1,000
short of the salary she was seeking.

The problem was that she was not specific enough. The right job came, however it was the
other side of town. She spent three hours a day in travel and soon realized that this was not
what she wanted.

When we use all our senses, we clarify our goal, we become very specific what we are
asking for. As such, when you do achieve your goal you’ll be satisfied with it rather than
disgruntled because there was something that detracted from the outcome.

Use In Evidence Step
Part of the process of Train Your Brain is to have an evidence step – that last piece of
information that falls into place for you to achieve your goal.

When you do this part of the exercise, you want to go forward to that moment in time that
is your evidence step and write it down in detail in a sentence or two. After going through
this step, doing the evidence step is easy because you have already painted the full picture
in your mind.

How To Do This Step
Go into the future to the date you have set your goal. Take a few moments to submerge
yourself the event that you have created. In the picture of you mind, see what is happening.
As you see what is happening, write this down.

You will go about creating the story of your goal by adding in the other senses. As you see
yourself, what do you hear, feel, taste and smell. Write this down as it surfaces in the

picture of the canvas of your mind. The more things you can add to your picture, the
stronger the magnetic pull is created to suck you towards your goal.

Just keep on asking yourself what you see, hear, smell, feel and taste.

Be Open To How Your Goal Will Arrive
When I set my goal to travel around the world, in my logical mind I assumed that I would
have to find a job, save money and it would take a few years to achieve.

But this was all in my logical conscious mind. If I had made the picture of my logical mind the
rule I needed to follow, it would have taken me a few years to achieve my goal.

When you create a sensory rich goal, you effectively hand over the creation of this goal to
the universal mind, which knows all because everything is linked. It will send you the
answers and it becomes the responsibility of your logical conscious mind to decipher the
messages.

Be open to the answers that come to you and be willing to attack some of the solutions that
might scare you. In Part 2 of ‘Train Your Brain’ we change your relationship with this fear
and turn it into an exciting adventure for you.

               Power Step 4: Why do you want to achieve this goal?

       If you don’t know why you want to achieve your goal, you will find it hard
       to maintain motivation to achieve your goal.

Now that you have the concept of what you want to achieve let’s start to consolidate this
and build motivation so that you are drawn to achieving this goal.

When you first set your goal you gave your universal mind instructions. The universal mind
works under the surface of your consciousness to deliver the right information to direct you
the achievement of your goal. As this information is delivered, it goes through your internal
filters. There are many filters, these include your belief systems, your value systems, past
experiences, your ego and much more. By the time your conscious mind receives this
information it has either been discarded, distorted or heavily manipulated so that you can
make a meaning of it.

           People are meaning making machines. All our experiences we go through
           we make a meaning to. It’s this meaning that guides us into the future. A
           positive meaning will empower us whereas a negative meaning will
           disempower us.

The power steps in this system are designed so you build bridges, help you to melt away
destructive belief systems and look for the answers. As the information passes through your
filters, you will make better distinctions. This is a meaning that serves you to achieve your
goal.

When you know why you want to achieve your goal, you have made it easier for your
universal mind to sort for the answers so it can deliver the right information, the right
recipe.

What happens?
Power step 2 is to find out why you want the desire you highlighted in power step 1. When
you know why you want to achieve your goal, the instructions you give to your universal
mind are clearer. This produces better results and you become even more motivated to
achieve it. This is because the universal mind searches for better data to send to you.

Setting and achieving goals is a journey where you go from where you are now to where you
want to be in the future. During this journey, you will find testing times. The difference
between people who achieve their goals and those who don’t, are those who do achieve
their goals manage to push through these testing times. Knowing why you want to achieve
your goal will instantly eliminate some of your testing times, and motivate you to push
through other testing times that surface.

      When you know why you want your goal, your universal mind knows what meaning
       to sort for.
      The instructions you give your universal mind are clearer, thus it produces better
       results for you.

      You build bridges and allow the purity of the right message to flow to your
       consciousness.
      Negative belief systems and destructive value systems get highlighted so you can
       change these to serve you better.
      You make better distinctions and get more insightful insights. This gives you an
       electric charge, unleashes incredible amounts of energy which keeps you motivated.
      Knowing why you want to achieve your goals gives you extra motivation to push
       through those times of self doubt. The more reasons you have, the greater the
       motivation is.

How You Do Power Step 4:
Think of the goal you have written and ask yourself why you want to achieve this goal. Keep
on asking this question until you have listed 7 reasons why. It doesn’t matter what the
reasons are, just find out why 7 times!!!

Keep on working through till you have come up with 7 reasons. You might find some reasons
are similar, it doesn’t matter. If you find more than 7 reasons, even better.

What You Might Find
In this process you might discover that it’s not so much the goal that you want, but more
the benefits this goal gives you. For instance, your goal might be to make a million dollars.
But why do you want a million dollars? In other words, is it the million dollars or the lifestyle
that a million dollars will provide for you that you.

If you want to loose weight, is it the weight loss or the fact that you will be noticed by the
opposite sex the reason.

Just knowing this distinction means that the instructions you gave to your universal mind
are different, more succinct. As such, the answers it delivers are even more powerful
towards directing you to its accomplishment.

Should you find that this is the case, then re-write your goal as to what you want to happen.
Instead of writing a goal that you want to be skinny, write a goal that you want to become a
magnet to the opposite sex.

                   Power Step 5: Define what this goal means to you?

           If you don’t know what your goals means to you, how will you know that
           you have achieved it!!!

If you don’t know clearly what you want, how can you achieve it?

If you are to ask a group of people what the word love means to them, they will come up
with a different meaning to others. Some will say the trust of a woman, others will say
having exciting adventures with a woman.

Neither person is right or wrong, it’s just their interpretation of the word love.

As such, when in any given situation, because we have different definitions to that situation,
we put a different meaning to it. Your reality is different to her reality. At a football game, if
your side wins you are happy whereas the opposition’s supporters are not so happy.

In power step 3 we continue to get clarity. We continue to refine what we want. This in turn
will send out a clearer message for your universal mind to sort through the data and send
you the answers.

For instance, why do you want $1,000,000? Does this mean you have $1,000,000 in the
bank or is it perhaps having equity of $1,000,000 in property? Perhaps it’s the life style that
$1,000,000 will give you. What does having $1,000,000 mean to you?

Here’s What Happens:
It clears up your definition of what your goal means to you.

As you get a clearer picture you are able to crystalize what it means to you even more. The
clearer the picture of your goal, the easier it becomes tangible.

          When you define what the goal means to you it is easier to picture. This makes it
           clearer in your consciousness. It also makes it a better picture for your universal
           mind to go out and create for you.

                                          We see in pictures


          You will know when you have achieved your goal. This allows you to enjoy the fruits
           of you labor quicker and to move onto the next stage of your life sooner.
          By defining what the goal means to you, you build better bridges for the information
           to get from your universal mind to your consciousness and the meaning you attach
           to this information. It’s your filtering system that deletes and distorts this
           information to make a meaning that could be different to reality. So the clearer
           your definition, the bridges get built and the closer the information come to your
           consciousness in its purest form.

          The more clear your goal the more you are motivated to achieve it.

You might find the goal and your definition are not aligned. This gives you a perfect
opportunity to reassess the goal with this greater clarity.

For instance, you goal might be to earn more money. The reason why you want to earn
more money is because you want to have a better standard of living. Making the association
that earning more money means a better standard of living means your definition of the
goal is clearer.

By not making this association, you might assume it. However, through this assumption,
there is a missing step to the clarity of the goal.

                                      Don’t make assumptions.


What if the definition of the goal is the same or similar to why you want to achieve the
goal?
As you define you goal you might find that some of your definitions are the same as the
reason why you wanted to achieve the goal. This doesn’t matter. This whole process is
about digging deeper and getting clarity of the goal.

If you come up with the same or similarities, you are confirming to your universal mind what
you really want. This consolidates and makes it easier for your universal mind to deliver the
correct results to you.

How to do this step?
Think of your goal and ask yourself what this goal means to you. As the answers come,
write them down.

    Definition: What does this goal mean to you.
    What? _________________________________________________________________

For instance, if your goal is to earn more money, ask yourself, “What does earning more
money mean to me?” As the answers come, write them down. Keep on repeating this step
till you have 7 definitions of what this goal means to you.

    You keep coming up with the same answers:
    This doesn’t matter. In sales there is a saying, say the same thing at least 3
    times in 3 different ways.

    You are programming your mind and if you keep on affirming with the
    same reasons, this is exactly what you should be doing.

    On the other hand, if you are too lazy to find new reasons, go out and find
    new reasons.

           Power Step 6: What are the benefits of achieving your goal?

       Everything we do is to benefit us in some way!!!


Everything you do is to gain a benefit. Doesn’t it then make sense to know what the benefits
to achieving your goal are?

You go to work so that you can earn an income to create a standard of living for yourself.
You might even hate your job, however the benefit of the income keeps you going back.

Even some of your dysfunctional activities are for a benefit. For instance, overeating might
benefit someone by protecting them from having to show who they really are. Getting
drunk on Friday nights might give you the benefit to approach the girls.

In this step we are going to list down benefits you will get by achieving this goal.

Two types of benefits:
You will find that there are two types of benefits you can list down.
   1. Benefits whilst on the journey of achieving your goal
   2. Benefits after you have achieved this goal.

List both in this step.

The more benefits you find, the better it is!!!


            As humans we need to feel as if we are progressing forward in our lives.
            Sometimes it’s recognizing the smallest of progress that can be the
            difference between success and failure. Just recognizing this progress gets
            you through those inevitable roadblocks along the way.



What happens:
When you know how the goal will benefit you, then you become compelled to move
towards the goal. The more benefits you have, the easier it becomes.

During the day, you will do something that triggers your memory of one of the benefits you
wrote down. This gives you an electrical charge of energy that propels you to take even
more action and fast forward you to achieving your goal. It also makes you feel good.

As you move towards the goal, challenging circumstances will arise. This will result in you
questioning how important the goal is to you. The more benefits you have, the more
references as to how important the goal is for you. This will keep you motivated during
these periods.

However, if you don’t know the benefits, when that questioning period arises, the
motivation becomes harder, often to a point where you decide that your current situation is
not so bad after all. So you stop, at least until the next time you become compelled to move
towards this goal again, sometime in the future (could be years). It also becomes harder to
achieve the goal in the future because you have already failed. You question your worth and
it becomes a downward spiral. Your confidence gets blown to shreds.


           Anything worth achieving is worth working for.

How to do this step?
Think about your goal and ask yourself what benefit you get from achieving this goal. As the
answers come up, write them down.

    Thinking about your definition, what are the benefits for achieving this goal.
    Benefit? _______________________________________________________________
    What else? _____________________________________________________________
    What else? _____________________________________________________________

Find 7 benefits you will achieve, whether it be benefits whilst on your journey or benefits
you achieve after you achieve your goal.

Again, you might find overlapping benefits as to why and the definition of the goal. If one of
the benefits of wanting to earn more money is a better standard of living. Great, list this as a
benefit.

      Power Step 7: Three action steps you can take to achieve this goal?

           You can’t wish your goal to become tangible. Action needs to occur in order
           to make it happen!!!


Now that you know what you want to create into your life, let’s start opening up the
channels of communication between your universal mind and your conscious mind.

The way we go about doing this is by thinking about action steps we think we need to take.
As these action steps surface to your consciousness, note them down. Note all of the steps
that surface as they surface, even if you don’t want to do them. The answers that surface
are you listening to your universal mind.

Note, these are steps we think we need to take, not steps we have to take.

This is what happens:
Knowing actions steps to take gives you motivation to move towards your goal.

Knowing actions steps you can take, you open up the communication channel between your
universal mind and your conscious mind. The answers that surface are the answers from
your universal mind. As they arise, your conscious is able to assess them and make decisions
based on the information that surfaces.

Listing down actions step sets your intention to your universal mind. You are instructing
your universal mind to give you the recipe to achieving your goal. It will search, sort and
deliver data to you as it finds this information. Often, the answer comes during times of
relaxation, or times when you are not focusing on the goal. This is because something
around you has triggered off a script in your universal mind and the answer has filtered
through to your consciousness.

Looking for action steps to take, you let your universal mind know that achieving this goal is
important. As such, it will work harder to find the recipe and place more importance on
sending you the answers.

There are many ways to skin a cat. By listing action steps to take, you are looking at different
ways to achieve your goal. Knowing different paths you can take, gives you options of
actions you can take to achieve your goal. Listing down the obvious steps allows the not so
obvious to surface behind them.

Knowing an action step you are ready to take allows you to create a plan of action to
accomplish it. Knowing you need to cold call to build your business is the action step you
need to take. Breaking this down to finding warm leads to call rather than just picking up
the white pages makes the action step more effective.

Having written the action steps, you might find that you have missed an obvious step you
need to take. When this happens, list the obvious step as well.

Sometimes we just don’t want to hear the answers
We often know what we need to do to achieve our goals. However, we don’t want to hear
the answers because they often indicate work that we don’t want to do. Listing all the steps
will highlight any lazy areas that you will need to address to achieve your goal.

       We usually know what actions we need to take to achieve our goals, it’s
       that we don’t want to hear the answers.



By listing down some of the things you think you can take, you have given yourself options.
During the day, other ideas will pop into your head. This will happen because you have given
yourself instructions to find the best way for you to achieve your goal. As you progress
through Part 2 of the system you will capture these ideas. Some of these ideas you will act
on and others you will not.

How to do this step:
Ask yourself, “What steps do I think I need to take to achieve this goal?” As the answers
come up, note them down. Write down the first answers that come to you, even if you don’t
like the action behind them.

 What are three action steps you can take to achieve this goal
 Action step 1: ___________________________________________________________
 Action step 2: ___________________________________________________________
 Action step 3: ___________________________________________________________


For instance, in MLM (Multi-Level Marketing – Amway, Network 21 etc…) the first step is to
list down your family and friend so you can introduce them to the MLM product and
business.

With the Train Your Brain system you list down the first responses that come to you. At this
stage, you might not be ready to do them, might not even do them in the future. What you
are doing is opening up the channels of communication between yourself and your universal
mind.

Why list down steps even if you don’t want to take them
Because you are listing things you think you might have to take you will get clearer answers.
The reason for this is because if there is a step that you know you need to take but you
don’t want to take, you might not list it down at all. It is better to get this step onto the list,
even if you don’t want to take it.

The action steps that you think you need to take are most likely the best steps for you to
take. However, you might not be prepared to do so right now. Listing them gives you the
ideas that will keep your mind focused. As you progress, your universal mind will work at
giving you the answers to eliminate any mental blocks you have around the action step you

need to take. So even if you don’t take them now, you are working away at getting the
resources needed to push you to take these steps.

For instance, should you want to increase your sales, making cold calls might be the first
thing that surfaces. You might not like cold calling and there is an inner conflict as to
whether to do this.

As you progress towards the achievement of your goal, you will pick up more resources. You
can’t help but do this because the whole reason you have not achieved the goal is because
you don’t have all the resources already.

As you pick up these resources, you will get a clearer and better understanding. You change
the way your think and the way you feel. What this means is that you are becoming a
different person. The decisions you make today will be different to those decisions you
make in the future because of these different resources. The decisions you make today are
decisions to get those resources you need to make the right decisions in the future.

      The decisions you make today will be different to those decisions you make
      in the future because you pick up new resources along the way. The
      decisions you make today are decisions to get those resources you need to
      make the right decisions in the future.

As you work towards your goal, your conscious awareness changes. This means you are
continually evolving. Something you don’t want to do today could turn out to be the most
exciting thing for you to do in the future.

Knowing an action step you don’t want to take gives you the opportunity to change your
relationship to it. For instance, cold calling on the phone. Knowing that you don’t like it is
just a frame of mind. You can change your relationship to this by making it an exciting game.

What if one of the steps is something you don’t want to do
Knowing some steps that you can take propels you forward to achieving your goal. There
are always many different ways of achieving a goal. What you are searching for in this step
are activities that you become passionate about and thus achieving the goal becomes easy
and exciting for you.

Not wanting to take the actions you need to now will change if your goal becomes
important enough. This system will make taking these steps exciting and fun. So it doesn’t
matter.

For instance, if you want to loose weight. Three steps could be to exercise, eat better and
stop drinking alcohol.

The thought of exercise might be something you don’t want to do. You might think you are
too busy right now to start an exercise program. However, you might have a look at taking
up exercise down the track, when the time is right.

The thought of giving up drinking is also something you don’t want to do. Doesn’t matter,
you can still lose weight without giving up drinking.

Listing your action steps can save your valuable time
After listing down steps you think you need to take, you might find out that you don’t really
want to achieve the goal. This will save you a lot of time and effort. It will also mean you
don’t waste a part of your life just to fail. So effectively, you are avoiding setting yourself up
for failure.

If you do find that this is the case, it allows you to let go of this emotional energy and
creates a vacuum so that you can look for another goal that does mean something to you.

You might discover that some of the steps you though you need to take don’t actually
benefit you and will actually slow down your progress of achieving your goal. For instance, if
your goal is weight loss. You know you need to exercise, so you think that lifting heavy
weights will be exercise to help you loose weight. What will happen is that you will put on
weight, because muscle it is heavier then fat. So the whole process of loosing weight does
not work when lifting heavy weights as a weight loss exercise.

The goal is the destination, getting there is the journey
Be aware that the goal is the destination, the final stage of a journey that you are about to
embark upon. You can make this journey as exciting as you want, this system is set up for
you to explore the possibilities of making it as exciting a journey as you choose it to be. It’s
all up to you, what do you want?

                Power Step 8: What excites you about the journey?
      It’s so much easier to do things that we love to do!!!

This system is designed to make your journey as exciting as you choose to make it.

One of the reasons people don’t set goals is because when they do the first place their mind
goes to is the work involved in achieving the goal. Thinking about the work takes away
motivation to chase the goal and it’s so much easier never to set it in the first place.

It’s a powerful tool to change your focus from the work involved to finding the excitement
that will happen along the way.

In this power step, we will focus on the exciting journey, note it down so that achieving your
goal is all about play and less about work.

When you go on holidays, your focus is on the adventure of the holidays, rather than going
through security at the airport, sitting in a cramped seat for hours on end, then putting up
with jet lag etc…

Before I start, let me tell you a story
I stumbled upon this power step by accident. When I broke up with my first fiancée I
created a new goal to go out and meet more girls. I was at an age where all my friends were
married and bringing up children. When I thought about what would be involved in meeting
new girls, my mind first wondered to how I would be able to put myself in the situations to
meet girls. Going to the club by myself was not that appealing to me.

Thinking about online dating – not appealing.

Taking up a social activity such as dancing – not appealing.

I am sure you can see the initial thought process. So I added this power step and changed
my focus to things that could be so exciting. Reasons such as all the great people I would
meet along the way and all the friends I would make along the way. All the great girls I
would meet. All the fun situations I would find myself in.

This became so exciting. It changed my life. I focused on the excitement of the journey and
as a result I made so many new friends, had so much fun and met some great girls. I also
learned so much about the different way men and women function.


Here is what happens:
You are now making that period between now and the destination exciting. It sets up the
expectation that it’s an exciting journey.

This makes your life exciting, after all, if you are doing exciting things you are in the state of
being excited. You have just programmed yourself to have an exciting journey.

Your conscious mind is what gives your universal mind instructions. Your universal mind
does not make any judgments, it just goes to work to deliver the results to you. By looking
for the excitement you give your universal mind instructions to be exciting. It has to deliver
exciting things.

And when you find reasons to become excited about the journey, the goal becomes so
much more real. During the day, as you notice one of the reasons that excites you, this gives
you an energy boost. It’s these small steps that keep you moving towards the final
destination quicker.

The other thing this does is it sets up the expectation that your goal becomes an exciting
journey. If you wanted to become the world’s fastest runner, the thought of the pain of
training every day would take away your motivation. Being excited by beating your
opposition gives you the boost to train even harder. Being excited as you stand on the top of
the podium with the gold medal around your neck and your national anthem playing – this
is exciting.

The journey is about getting the lessons along the way. As you work towards your
destination, you will pick up new ah-has. This is so exciting in itself. You create in your
working being a neural pathway to seek out excitement. As such, when exciting things
happen, you recognize this. This gives you more motivation and energy.

How to do this step:
Think about the goal and the journey you need to take to achieve the goal. Now think about
all the exciting things will happen along this journey. Make it fun. Make it something that
you love to do. If you are not sure, think of things that you can do to make it an exciting
journey.

    Thinking about your goal you have just written, what excites you most about the
    journey between now and getting there.
    Excited? _______________________________________________________________

List 7 exciting things about your journey. If you can think of more, even better. The more
excitement you can find, the greater the motivation.

As you work through Part 2 of this system, you continue to remind your universal mind that
you are on an exciting journey. This is very powerful because your universe will continue to
question how serious you are about achieving your goal. Without the constant reminder of

the excitement, you might not recognize it. Recognizing these small steps is important in
keeping you motivated.

How to find excitement
When you think of your goal and the excitement, you might be reluctant to note down some
of the excitement you can imagine because you are not sure it will happen.

Tip 1: if you do this, you will stifle the excitement that could surface. You have just
programmed yourself not to invite in this excitement.

Tip 2: if you find exciting things that you are not sure will happen, list these down. This
programs your universal mind to deliver these results to you. It will also send you other
exciting adventures because you have programmed your universal mind to make the
journey exciting.

You will get benefits in other areas of your life that you hadn’t even contemplated.

When I added this step to find my girlfriend, I didn’t realize that it would also send me lots
of great male friends, more friends then I ever had. I didn’t realize that I would end up being
the leader of my group of friends. This happened, something I had never been before. In
hindsight, one of the reasons for not having many friends before setting my goal is because I
was not much of a follower and a poor leader. So I was a loner. My journey attracted
resources that had benefits in other areas of my life.

So list down excitement that you want, make this your expectation and your journey will be
even better.

Creating lots of financial wealth might be your final step. The reason for this is so that you
can lead an extravagant lifestyle. Along the way, you will end up having situations where
you are actually living this lifestyle before you have all the wealth you want. Isn’t this
exciting?

  Power Step 9: Evidence Step - When will you know you have achieved this
                                   goal?
       If you don’t know the final step, how will you know you have achieved your
       goal!!!


Sometimes people set goals, achieve them and don’t even realize that they have done so. If
you want to become a millionaire how would you know that you are one? Will this be based
on having a million dollars in the bank? This would be unlikely because as your wealth
consciousness increases so does your understanding of money and investing. Most people
who are millionaires don’t have a million dollars of cash in the bank.

Perhaps you have invested in a property and not realized that over the years the property
has appreciated and that in fact you are a millionaire.

This is such an important step when setting a goal. If you don’t know the final step, then you
can’t really achieve the goal.

      One of the reasons people don’t set goals is because they don’t know the
      final outcome. In the past, they may have set goals and not even realized
      they had achieved them.


What happens:
The most important thing that will happen when you do this power step is you will know
when you have achieved your goal. Knowing this gives you so many benefits. These include
   1. Feeling good about yourself for accomplishing your goal
   2. Feeling of confidence. You will feel more confident because you have proven to
      yourself that you can create and achieve a goal.

You will know the final step that needs occur to confirm to you that you have achieved your
goal. Setting and achieving a goal is a step by step process. Often it’s easy to know the first
and final steps to a goal. Setting a weight loss goal, you might write down the first steps as
exercise and eat better. The final step could be when you weigh the weight you believe to
be the right weight for you.

You get clarity on what the goal is for you. Knowing this makes it easier to achieve. Want to
be a millionaire could mean that you have equity in a property of $1,000,000 rather then
having $1,000,000 in the bank.

Having this clarity helps you to create the picture in your mind of what has to happen to
achieve the goal. We think in pictures. As you will find out in power step 10, being able to
see the final picture in your mind helps you to get a picture to use as an anchor. This keeps
you on track by triggering off your goal when you see the picture.

How to do this step:
Think of what needs to happen for you to confirm that you have achieved your goal.
Whatever this is, write it down. This is an action step. I could be getting on a plane to go on
holiday, it could be taking ownership of the keys to your new car.

As you see the final step in your mind the next part is to add the date you see it happening
followed by the positive statement that follows. Write it as you want it to happen. This is
the statement you will use in Part 2 of Train Your Brain.

Your evidence step might be that you get the keys to your new car. The statement becomes;
‘It is now 14/2/2010 and I see the salesman handing me the keys to my new brand new
silver Mercedes convertible.’

 Evidence step: How will you know when you have achieved this goal.

Note: The final step is different for everyone. For instance, if your goal is to find your soul
mate, your evidence that this has happened might be when you get married. For someone
else, their evidence step could be when they live together.

    We are all unique. As such we all have different expectations.

Once you know what it is that needs to happen, go and find a picture of this. You can find a
picture in a magazine or you can Google it. Get this picture and paste it on the front of your
manual.

To make this step even more powerful, get a few pictures. Hang them around the house so
they continually remind you of your goal. Remember, the more you time you put into
achieving your goal, the sooner it becomes tangible. When you use a magnifying glass to
focus the sun’s rays on a piece of paper, it soon starts to burn. This is something that would
not happen without this focus.

Pictures act as triggers
When we think, we create pictures in our mind. For instance, when I ask you to think of a
purple tree, you create a picture of a purple tree in your mind. By having a picture it
consolidates your goal, it gives your universal mind a picture of what it is searching for.

      We think in pictures.

When we have pictures hanging around reminding us of our goal, we continually are
focused on achieving this goal. It keeps us motivated. It’s normal for us to have our minds

wonder. So seeing a picture will remind you of your goal and that mindless wonder ceases.
You remain focused on the final outcome.

The picture in your mind will be different to the final step
This is correct. Something in the future hasn’t happened so it’s not tangible. So it can’t be
real.

So the picture can’t be an exact representation of what you create. It is only your
interpretation. Even if the picture of your goal is palm trees on a white sandy beach with
crystal clear water in Fiji. When you get there, you will find palm trees on white sandy
beaches and crystal clear water, however the picture is not exact as what you imagined it to
be. It can’t be because we live where change is continually happening.

What if the picture changes
As you get closer to your goal, the picture might change. If this happens, go out and get a
picture that closer relates to the final image of your goal.

For instance, as I used this system, I had a picture of where I thought my honeymoon would
be. My initial picture was Malaysia, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This changed as we decided to go
to Las Vegas, Dominican Republic and on a cruise ship. I still achieved my goal of having a
dream honeymoon, it just changed as I worked towards it.

Every time you look at the picture it reinforces to you what your goal is. This is just so
powerful.

      Power Step 10: What excites you once you have achieved the goal?

           Everyone who achieves something significant has a vision before they
           achieve it. This vision gets them excited!!!


You probably are starting to get the message now, you are programming yourself to achieve
your goal. In this step you add another layer of excitement towards its attainment. You are
continuing to instruct your universal mind to achieve your goal. This keeps you motivated.

This is different to step 7 in that you are now taking yourself into the future and imagining
what it is that excites you once you have achieved your goal.

Here is what happens:
This sets the expectation that you will achieve the goal. It sets the expectation that you will
be excited when you achieve the goal. It makes the goal much more tangible. And having a
tangible goal is such an important step to achieving it.

Everything we do is to benefit ourselves. The reason for this is so that we can experience
joy. When you know what excites you about achieving your goal, your body releases
chemicals that flow through your body and give you that feeling of joy. So if we take the
future and imagine what this joy would feel like, we have set our programming to go out
and seek this joy. As we feel this future joy in the present, those chemicals are released in
our body. A neural pathway of joy is created.

The more time you travel down this neural pathway of joy, the more ingrained it becomes in
your consciousness. Like water that creates a stream for all the water that follows to flow
through. The path of least resistance.

You have programmed yourself to seek out excitement, so along the way your universal
mind will continue to send you excitement. You will notice excitement as it happens, you
will become aware of that feeling of excitement that you have overlooked in the past. As
you do this, your universal mind continues to provide even more of this for you.

In Part 2 of this system, we have a process to note down and acknowledge to our universal
mind that we are having an exciting journey.

How to do this step
The way to do this step is to imagine that you have achieved this goal. See this picture in
your mind. Feel the excitement. Write this down. Keep writing it down till you have 7 things
that get you excited.

And yes, the more things you find the better.

There might be some of the same reasons as your per your journey, it doesn’t matter. Just
find reasons to be excited about when you achieve your goal.

Visualization
Being able to see and feel the final goal makes it easier for your universal mind to deliver
this to you. All goal setting is about taking something in the future, bringing it forward to
today and then taking the action steps to create this.

When you create a goal, you do so for the excitement that will happen when you do achieve
it. This power step captures your excitement. When captured, it becomes a reference for
you to call on as you progress along your journey.

Being able to call on this excitement when you are going challenging times could be the
difference between pushing through and achieving the goal or never achieving it.

Wanting to make enough money to afford a new car, being able to see and feel the
excitement of having this new convertible silver Mercedes could be the difference between
making that extra sales call or not. It could be that call that makes the money to buy your
new car.

Being able to call on seeing the excitement and feeling the pride when you are standing on
the top podium, with the gold medal around your neck could be the motivation to spend
the hours of training you need to get there in the first place. Especially those days when you
don’t feel in the mood to train.

Because you have a reference of excitement to call upon, it makes it easier to push through
during those times when motivation might lack or when you question if you will ever get
your goal in the first place.

Everyone who achieves something significant has a vision before they achieve it.

                                     Anchoring It All In

            An anchor triggers off the script you have created so you can achieve your
            goal.

There are times when you hear a song and it sends you back to a time in your past. Maybe
you might smell the perfume of a girl and it reminds you of an ex-girlfriend.

These are what are called anchors. Something in the present that reminds you of the past.

When people get married, they swap rings. This is a symbol of marriage. There are times
during the day you notice the ring and it reminds you of your spouse. There are also times
when people might point out the ring, and this automatically brings to your consciousness
your spouse.

My brother got a tattoo when he lived abroad. The reason for getting the tattoo was
because he was having such an awesome time. Not only does this tattoo serve as an anchor
to bring back this awesome time for my brother, it also brings back an anchor for me that
the tattoo is there to remind my brother of the awesome time he had.

What happens:
An anchor becomes a constant reminder to you of what your goal is. As you go through your
normal daily routine, you will have so many thoughts going through your mind. It becomes
easy to forget what is important. However, when you see the anchor, it reminds you of what
is important to you. This bring to the front of your thought process your goal. When you are
consciously working on your goal, you will achieve it quicker.

Having an anchor sets the intention that your goal is important to you. This is sent to your
universal mind and it will prioritize finding, sorting and delivering the right information to
your consciousness.

How to do this step:
Why not use this powerful tool to help you with your goal. Go out and get a piece of jewelry
and put this to work for you. Maybe it is a chain or a bracelet.

The way you put this piece of jewelry to work is to purchase it specifically so that it reminds
you of your goal. If your goal is to increase your wealth to a net position of $1,000,000 go
and buy a souvenir poker chip with a face value of $1,000,000. The items you purchase are
the anchors. The specific reason for purchasing them to remind you of your goal puts them
to work for you. You have enrolled the universe to support you to achieve your goal. Isn’t
this cool.

Simple as this sounds, the more time you spend in your goal, the quicker you get to achieve
it.

Whilst you’re about it, recall Step 8 where you went out and got pictures to remind you of
your goal. These pictures are anchors. They are the anchors to remind you of your goal.

The more you invest, the more intent you have
If you are to spend $1,997 to education yourself to unlock the learning’s within an
educational program, you will have more invested then if you were to make an
unauthorized copy of the program. Even if you have the best intentions to get the learning’s,
the greater the investment, the more likely you are to push through during challenging

If you invest hours of your time to building your business, you are more likely to push

to focus on. Most people fail before they even start. 80% of goals are never achieved
because they were never started in the first place. You have started you goal so you are
already past the hardest hurdle.

Now that you have created a goal to chase, it becomes important to constantly and
continually work towards achieving it. If you don’t do this, you are likely to lose motivation
long before it ever becomes tangible.

Going to the gym to lose weight might be the goal, going the first few times is very easy.
However, what do you do when you feel the pain of the exercise and notice that the weight
isn’t falling off as quickly as you would like. If you don’t remind yourself of your intention it
becomes easy to give the gym a miss. Once this happens, you have programmed yourself to
fail because every time you get that feeling, you don’t go to the gym. This in turn makes you
feel guilty and soon the goal is lost, the intention is lost, the benefits are lost. This creates a
vacuum which is replaced with guilt. This sends you into a downward spiral.

Part 2 of Train Your Brain is designed to keep you on the right path. The current and wind
work to take the ship off path, the captain is responsible for making corrections so it reaches
its destination. This is what happens with Part 2 of Train Your Brain.

Train Your Brain - Part 2:

submerge yourself in your goal. You are constantly reminding your universal mind of what
your goal is. You continue to find out more reasons why the goal is important to you.

As you continue along the journey towards the achievement of your goal, change will occur.
It has to, change is always happening. You might not notice it on a moment to moment
basis, however over a given period of time you will notice it. After all, are you substantially
taller now then the day of your birth. This system is set up so that you catch some of the
changes happening. You will notice change is part of the process and become excited as you
notice it happen. As a result you get a clearer clarity of the definition of your goal. In part 2,
we recognize this and continue to build on the definition of the goal. What the goal means
to you.

Everything we do is to benefit us. In Part 2 we are on the lookout for these benefits. We
allow even more benefits to surface and as they do we capture them. This keeps our focus
on achieving the goal. Should you seek to get benefits from other sources not related to
your goal, then you are delaying the process of achieving your goal. This is because your
focus is all over the place.

There are many different paths to achieving your goal. You will continue to look for action
steps you can take and action steps you will take. This opens up possibilities for you. It helps
you to seek action steps that are easy and fun to take. It also eliminates those that become
time wasters.

If you are to climb Mt Everest, you will need to take one step after another to reach the
summit. Along the way you will have smaller goals so you can achieve the big picture goal. In
Part 2, you will break down the goal into smaller steps you can work on now, so you don’t
become overwhelmed by the big picture.

If you feel that you are not progressing towards your goal, you will lose motivation to strive
for it. As such, in part 2 you will look for evidence that the goal is progressing forward. You
note down learning’s, the new resources however small they are that you pick up along the
way. This keeps you on the right path.

Part of the process of achieving any goal is to take action. You will set your intention for the
day and find reasons why you will love this intention. Just this in itself make it exponentially
easier to take the actions you need. However, we add in an extra layer by becoming excited,
you look for reasons to become excited. When you look for something, you will find it.

Cool down: Often it is in periods of relaxation that the information from your universal mind
sends you the answers. And just as at the gym, after a good workout, you cool down. This
allows you muscles that have been working to effectively cool down with less stress.
