					Education and Training
None of the Commonwealth Agreement Schedule 1 Education and Training milestones fell due in Year 1. Nevertheless,
the Education and Training Program has commenced with the running of an Intellectual Property Management and
Commercialisation course for postgraduate students and research staff. In addition, several short courses for Industry
and Government have been run. CO2CRC gave a half-day workshop on geological sequestration of CO2 as part of an
international conference, and shared in presenting one on CO2 capture. Approximately 25 people attended each
workshop. In addition, a number of courses have been run on APCRC Year 7 topics. At year end, plans were in hand
to recruit a person to fill the Education and Training role for the Centre. Development of the Greenhouse Gas
Technologies module contemplated in the Commonwealth Agreement will begin when that person commences.

Students enrolled with the CRC 2003/04
                                                                               MSc or M Eng* 3
3 postgraduate research degrees were awarded in 2003/2004.
Postgraduate student theses and postdoctoral appointments are shown PhD 23
