            Manager’s commentary as at 31 December 2010

The Conservative Fund’s value rose by 4.92% in the past six months. The Conservative Fund’s diversified portfolio, including 30%
exposure to shares and property, contributed to the positive performance over the past six months. Sharemarkets gained momentum
with the prospects of further quantitative easing in the US over the latter part of 2010 which was confirmed when it was announced
in early November. The expectation is that the second round of quantitative easing (the purchase of US$600 billion of US Treasuries
through to June 2011) will boost asset prices. The US economic outlook is starting to look brighter assisted by the monetary and
fiscal policies instigated by the US government and the Federal Reserve. During December, sharemarkets reached levels last seen
prior to the collapse of Lehman Brothers in September 2008. Increased investor risk appetites for the broader world sharemarkets
assisted the listed property sector, along with the improving economic outlook.
