November 28, 2005 ALABAMA BULLETIN NO. AL360-6-5 SUBJECT: PER - New Performance Management System. Purpose. To provide information concerning the new 5 Level Performance Management System for FY 2006. Expiration Date. January 13, 2006 Action Required By: January 13, 2006 We have been notified by National Headquarters to have performance work plans (i.e. performance elements and standards) under the new performance management system completed in hard copy no later than January 13, 2006. This will be accomplished by use of Forms AD-435 A and B, Performance Plan, Progress Review and Appraisal Worksheet. The period of performance must start after December 15, 2005. An example of an appraisal period covered would be January 1, 2006 - September 30, 2006. It has yet to be determined how to close out the current FY 06 pass/fail performance work plans in HRIS/ICAMS. Guidance, forms, and implementation instructions to include performance elements and standards are at: http://www.nrcs.usda.gov/intranet/hrmd/PerformanceMgt.html.
