Rome, Italy, May 05, 2011 -- Italian arranger, composer, and producer

Giorgio Costantini, who’s 2009 indie album “PianoPianoForte” reached

number seven on Italy’s iTunes charts, has announced the release of his

latest CD “Universound”. Giorgio Costantini is well known for his unique

and exceptionally original compositions and for his stellar performance

at many high-profile concert halls and venues around the world, from the

National Theatre of Taipei to Royal Albert Hall.

Mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London by Alex Wharton, “Universound”,

Giorgio Costantini’s thirteen track finely crafted album, in nu- classic

style consists of seven laid back and beautiful piano solos to six finely

orchestrated tracks.

In the opening track “Alba Mundi” (from latin “the origin of the World”)

the song contains the orbital frequencies of the planets of our solar

system, transposed up 36 octaves. The harmony of the entire composition

is constructed upon nine fundamental notes, each corresponding to the

note of the orbital frequency of one of the nine planets, from Mercury to

Pluto. These brilliantly bazaar and well-designed elements in this

wonderful album only further enhance its interest-appeal.

The second song on the album is “Life”, constructed over a combination of

3, 4 and 64 notes, inspired to the basic element number combination of

DNA language.

Kathy Parsons of mainlypiano.com called Universound “a trait-d’union

between classical and pop music - Easy Listening but very evocative” --

”Lyrical and Melodic” – and finally ”Strong and evocative”. In

“Universound”, Costantini utilizes his well studied craft by combining

all the elements of his studies with his composition, arrangement, and

programming skills; all to formulate an undeniably original blend of

hauntingly-opulent style and sound.

“Universound” is now available at CD Baby, digitally at iTunes, and other

online retail stores.
