General Contracts Information
Central Contractor Registration www.ccr.gov CCR Mandate Effective January 1, 2004 all contractors interested in doing business with the Federal Government MUST BE registered in CCR Who Registers Prospective vendors must be registered in CCR prior to: • The award of a contract • Basic ordering agreement • Blanket purchase agreement Prime contractors are not required to have their subcontractors register in CCR. If a subcontractor wants to bid directly for contracts, they must also register in the CCR.

The public has access to this 19 database through the Web.
