					                        YOUNG FARMER
                      TRAINING PROGRAM
                   APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

We are looking for apprentices and interns who are committed to farming practice, study and
leadership. Next year, Young Farmer Training Program graduates can continue in Year 2. After
Year 2, graduates can apply for land and money to start a farm or garden project.
Preference will be given to applicants who want to farm!

   Apprentices meet every day of every session (Spring, Summer, Fall).

   Interns can apply for any session and have less time commitment.


Applications Due: March 7 (Spring), May 23 (Summer), August 8 (Fall)
  The application is important! Take your time to read and answer each question.


Working Interview:
  We will call you to schedule this MANDATORY Working Interview.
  Working interviews held at Inter-Faith Food Shuttle Farm, 4505 Tryon Road in Raleigh.
  Do NOT wear nice clothes. Dress for the weather in “farm clothes” that can get dirty.
