Irvington High School welcomes you to join or our Specialized Program in the arts: the Center for the Creative Arts
(CCA). Please complete the following application and submit it along with your enrollment materials when registration
materials are collected. If it is past that deadline you may submit the forms to the counselor or to the Irvington High
School Registrar no later than March 18, 2011. Thanks so much!

NEW MEDIA ARTS ACADEMY INFORMATION
IHS has established the New Media Arts Academy (NMAA) to seamlessly integrate fine arts and technology. New
Media relies on viewer participation and interaction. Students will make digital movies, images, podcasts, blogs, and
animation that will culminate in a digital art exhibit on the internet by the end of each year. Students will be placed in
families within core curriculum classes. A unique feature about this program is the career technical element where
students take New Media courses designed to help prepare them for the world of work in this exciting new art field.
The NMAA structure encompasses Grades 10-12. Students may apply to become fully integrated into the NMAA
program as they register for their sophomore classes.
