   Specific Issue for Ashbrow ward:
   Deighton Centre Deighton Road – Theft from vehicles weekdays 9 x 5

   Sheepridge Road ,Shops 5 x 9 weekdays and all weekend - young people congregating
   and creating feelings of an unsafe environment and anti-social behaviour.

   Misc Details: to continue in line with other matters ongoing locally through Neighbourhood
   Management Group (NMG) and build on reassurance following robbery on 9 th November
   2009.

 South, Gledholt Road - - concerns regarding drug dealing in the area and theft from motor
 vehicles particulary property left in open view.

 Time and Day: All times, predominantly evenings

 Misc Details: to continue from last month, 2 x specific issues raised by Friends of
 Greenhead Park (see below) and to continue reassurance following recent press article
 relating to incidents at the park.

   flats, anti social behaviour and possibly drug dealing in the area.


   Specific Street / Area: Blocks of flats: Hebden, Buckden and Burnsall Court, Chesil Bank.
   Time and Day: Hours of darkness up to midnight

   Misc Details: raised by Councillor Stanfield on behalf of local residents – supporting local
   police information.

Policing Pledge

PACT (Partners and Community Together) is an ideal opportunity for the community and groups to
air their concerns and speak directly with a member of YOUR Local Neighbourhood Policing Team
in order to set Local Priorities. Prior to the setting of new priorities Acting Inspector Crossley gave a
summary of action taken the three identified priorities that were agreed at last months PACT
meeting and the action taken.

Ashbrow Ward: - priority 24TH November 2009
In November you asked us to look at:


                 From neighbourhood PACT meeting of 22/10/09 - Sheepridge Road Shops - young
                  people congregating and creating feelings of an unsafe environment and anti-
                  social behaviour.
                 From neighbourhood PACT meeting of 24/11/09 - Sheepridge Road Shops - to
                  continue in line with other matters ongoing locally through Neighbourhood
                  Management Group (NMG) and build on reassurance following robbery on 9th
                  November 2009
                 Specific Street / Area: Sheepridge Road, Sheepridge Village
                 Time and Day: all times, predominantly evenings
                 Raised by NPT o.b.o. local residents – out of NMG/NPT contact (Councillors and
                  prospective candidate)

In response to this priority:

                 Officers have patrolled on 25 separate occasions, including using the CCTV van
                 Generally has been very quiet – where groups of youths have been seen they
                  have generally dispersed on police arrival.
                 Councillors report a definite quietening in the area (of groups congregating).
                 4 x calls for service to area, 3 relating to youths gathering 1 relating to a fight
                  where 1 person arrested for assault


Greenhead Ward: - priority 24TH November 2009


In November you asked us to look at:


                 From neighbourhood PACT meeting of 22/10/09 - Area of Greenhead Park – Park
                  Drive and Park Drive South - concerns regarding drug dealing in the area.
                 From neighbourhood PACT meeting of 24/11/09 - Area of Greenhead Park - to
                  continue from last month, specific issues raised by Friends of Greenhead Park and
                  to continue reassurance following recent press article relating to incidents at the
                  park.
                 Specific Street / Area: Park Drive and Park Drive South
                 Time and Day: All times, predominantly evenings
    Raised by Park Ranger on behalf of Friends of Greenhead Park.

    In response to this priority:

                      Officers have patrolled on 28 separate occasions, including using the CCTV van
                       on 1 occasion
                      Some groups of young people encountered in a car, no signs of drug dealing just
                       relaxing in area – quite a common occurrence according to officers.
                      Some local information has been passed to officers of young people smoking
                       cannabis in the park.
                      Cars broken into on 24/11, 26/11 2/12 park drive, park drive south
                      1 10.12 poss cannabis personal use park drive south
                      4 x calls for service to area, 1 relating to drug dealing, 3 theft from vehicle


    Lindley Ward: - priority 24TH November 2009
    In November you asked us to look at:


          From neighbourhood PACT meeting of 24/11/09 - Reports of Graffiti in the communal areas
    of blocks of flats, suspicious activity possibly drug dealing and inappropriate sexual activity in the
    area. Hebden, Buckden and Burnsall Court, Chesil Bank.

    In response to this priority:

                      Officers have patrolled on 11 separate occasions.
                      Liaison with KNH.
                      5 x calls for service to area: Buckden Court
                      Officers have spoken to a local occupant believed subject of graffiti. They have no
                       idea why they have been singled out.
                      Vehicle searched misuse of drugs – no gain
                      5 x calls for service to area: Buckden Court re young people in stairwell/landings
                      1 instance of new graffiti reported over this time
                      No reports of sexual activity recorded or reported
