					                                 Shiamak's – Spring Funk ™ 2011

Dear Students, Parents and Friends,

We hope you have had a wonderful Holiday Season and we welcome you into 2011.

Shiamak Davar International (Canada) Inc. is back with “Shiamak’s Spring Funk”- A showcase that will have
all participating students perform like “Stars” on stage in March 2011.

Shiamak’s Summer Funk and Spring Funk shows have been running successfully for almost 10 years in
Toronto. Be a STAR! Get ready to sizzle and set the stage on fire at Shiamak’s Spring Funk 2011. Have Feet,
Will Dance!!

What is Spring Funk?

The class begins with a 15 minute dance warm-up as Shiamak describes it, “Dancercise” (dance workouts). The
next 45 minutes are dedicated to training the students for the dance that will include technical work and
choreography. Students are taught a dance routine to a particular edited song and are trained in the finer art of
performance. Spring Funk is “Your chance to BE A STAR!” Every participant succeeds in gaining Confidence
and emerges to be a true star. Each year SDI gives more and more people a platform to experience ‘performing
arts’ and discover the STAR within them!!!

There will be two shows on March 13th, 2011 and students are required to perform for both the shows.

Participation certificates will be given only to students who perform for both the shows

Please review the entire information below as there are some changes and additions made to the regular
