PROFESSIONAL OBJECTIVE

To succeed in a performance career in orchestral and chamber music. At present, my pursuit is
happening through doctoral studies and performance workshops. Further ambitions include employment
within post-secondary instruction, thriving as a freelance hornist, and acquiring an orchestral position.

    Maintained a private studio providing individual and group horn instruction for middle and high
        school students, as well as chamber coaching for high school and undergraduate students.

Teaching Assistant, University of Victoria: History of Music 220A, 220B, The Time of Music 391 (2007-
2009)

     Grading of assignments and papers, leading and facilitating classroom discussions between fifty
         students, preparing lecture materials (including handouts and PowerPoint presentations) and
         lecturing (Wagner’s Ring, Shostakovich and the Soviet Regime, John Cage and Time, Ravel, Les
         Six and Stravinsky). Supervising Instructors: Dr. Michelle Fillion, Dr. Jonathan Goldman.

    Creating and implementing the vocal program, teaching musical skills, voice lessons and several

     Administrator for all aspects of a weekend of seven concerts and events. Also responsible for
        personnel management for over 50 professional musicians, website creation, media contact,
        music librarian, and sponsorship liaison. Founder, GRBF Summer Training Program: creating
        intensive Baroque training institute for post-secondary and graduate students.
