Thousands of years ago, people in egypt preserved the bodies of

the dead by wrapping them in linen cloth. today, scientists use

these mummies to tell us about how the Egyptians lived. However,

scientists used to have a big problem? If they unwrapped a

mummy, they would damage it Now scientists use a special x-ray

machine scanner to take pictures of mummies right through their

wraps.
