Halloween

 Children love to pretend and dress up! The children will have the opportunity to dress up
for the day in their Halloween costumes as we discuss the following Halloween topics.
        Symbols we use to celebrate Halloween (scarecrows, pumpkins, witches, black
           cats, spooks and bats) fantasy versus reality
        Why we celebrate this holiday Night before All Souls Day

          *Trick-Or-Treat Safety * Fire Safety
        The children will work learn valuable lessons on fire prevention and
        safety at home and in school. The Springfield Fire Department will
        be visiting to reinforce the lessons taught and Smokey the Bear
        himself will visit as well!
