women’s Kizamm Jacket
Not for wallflowers, snowboard betties will be sure to stand out in the new
Women’s Kizamm Jacket. For Fall 2009, the bold, colour block pattern is
offered	in	three	schemes:	Snow	White/Fiery	Red/Coffee	Brown,	Oasis	Blue/
Anchorage	Green/Flamenco	Blue,	and	Venom	Yellow/Magic	Magenta/Bomber
Blue.	Even	bolder	than	its	good	looks	are	the	Kizamm’s	technical	capabilities.

Freeriders sporting the Kizamm don’t sacrifice performance for style. Cut
from	waterproof,	breathable,	two-layer	HyVent™	fabric,	the	jacket	is	fully	seam
sealed and faced with a Thermoliner for a hint of insulation. The EZD-tach hood
is a cinch to adjust with one mittened hand, even in a snowstorm. And, the
rotated	core	pit-zip	vents	allow	for	breathability	and	airflow	on	warm	afternoons
or acrobatic sessions on the pipe.

Several innovations ensure that no stray snow slips inside the waterproof
exterior, including a snap-back powder skirt with an elastic gripper, an adjustable
hem system, and pant-a-locks that allow the jacket to clip into corresponding
The North Face® snowsport pants.

Base Camp ski Roller
For Fall 2009, The North Face®compiled four decades of experience equipping expeditions, plus fervent feedback on our
iconic Rolling Thunder bag, and applied it to the ultimate winter travel set-up. The result is the unparalleled Base Camp
Ski Roller.

Definitive durability and functionality are key themes in a bag built from Himalayan-tested Base Camp ballistics shell
fabric with a bombproof ripstop liner, and a pillowy, padded perimeter designed to provide superior protection for two pairs
of	skis,	poles	and	accessories.	The	carry-on	sized	boot	pod	holds	a	pair	of	ski	boots	and	packs	easily	into	the	bag	as
an	internal	organizer,	but	can	be	removed	if	the	full	package	is	too	heavy.	Bomber	PU	wheels	roll	right	through	slush,	ice
and snow, and an exterior pocket allows quick access to important travel documents. A protective identity pocket clearly
displays name and contact information in case other travellers are overcome by envy for the Base Camp Ski Roller.

The double-loop end handle offers easy ergonomics for hauling, interior and exterior compression straps help to balance
the	load,	and	multiple	exterior	daisy	chains	offer	useful	lashing	options.	The	optional	Gear	Locker	completes	the	ultimate
set-up to hold a second pair of ski boots or other necessary gear, and straps quickly and securely to the Ski Roller bag
to make for an easier commute to trams, ski lodges or shuttles. For its premiere offering, the Base Camp Ski Roller is
available	in	the	colour	options	Black	and	White	Topo.
