Employee Evaluations are performed to ensure the company is getting value for money from each employee on the payroll. This evaluation must be performed every six months in the case of regular employees and every two months for employees under probation. Salaries may be increased or reduced on the basis of this evaluation, and therefore, the criteria used to evaluate the employee must be detailed enough to give a wide spread view of the employees usefulness to the company. The Personnel Manager is responsible to ensure these evaluations are initiated on time by all Department Heads.

Grading ---- Employees who score over 80 points or more are in line for a salary increase and/or promotion ---- Employees who score 61 - 79 points can continue in their present position with the same conditions ---- Employees who score between 40 - 60 points must be cautioned and strongly encouraged to improve their performance before their next evaluation ---- Employees who score below 40 points are candidates for possible termination Scoring
