What: The Family Symphony Sundays is a fun, interactive series of five concerts guaranteed to be an enjoyable and memorable afternoon for children and adults alike! The Season Opener, Spooky Symphony, kicks off the 2010 season on Sunday, October 31 and features the entire Plano Symphony! A fun-filled afternoon with “Halloween-themed music” awaits you and your child and costumes are encouraged! Special pre-concert lobby activities unique to this concert begin at 2:15 pm. Following the Spooky Symphony, four ensemble concerts will be held at the Courtyard Theatre located on Avenue H in Plano. Each ensemble concert will be an interactive experience that will introduce the audience to the Strings, Percussion, Woodwinds and Brass. Come early before each concert and enjoy the Plano Symphony Instrument Petting Zoo, a hands-on musical learning experience, and more. You and your child will have a great time learning and being exposed to great music all for one low price, less than the cost of a movie.
