Paul Mikesell, Co-Founder, CEO
Prior to starting Clustrix, Paul was the founder and director of engineering at Isilon Systems, the proven leader in
scale-out NAS storage solutions. Paul designed, architected, and developed all of Isilon’s products while building the
engineering team to 50 people, the company to 200 people, and revenue to $100M. After a successful IPO in 2006
Isilon was acquired by EMC in 2010 for $2.25B.
Sergei Tsarev, Co-Founder, Director of Engineering
Sergei led Internet Operations Infrastructure at AOL, designed large-scale monitoring and configuration
management systems including a high performance data storage engine which has become the standard for all of
AOL, replacing traditional high-end database infrastructure.
Aaron Passey, Chief Technology Officer
Aaron was Isilon’s chief architect, inventor on 26 patents and responsible for technical product direction. Prior to
Isilon, Aaron designed code for the I/O subsystem of Cray super computers.
