?You need to get something from the Internet quickly but the PC seems to grind to a
halt. Certainly a maddening experience! You can enjoy faster Internet on your
computer. How? Explore this article. Here we have discussed some important tips that
will help you boost internet speed. You can also get Internet help from computer
repair services companies.

There are a number of causes that act behind slowing down internet speed. Well, may
be the computer is out of memory or you have installed a new software and it is
slowing down the computer. A virus or spyware can also slow down the computer.
Last but not the least you probably have a bad Internet connection.

It is suggested to change your home page for faster browsing. A graphic-heavy home
page takes longer to get going. For instance, if the home page is set to a site where
several large ads are present, it may take longer time to open. To change the home
page simply go to the page you want to make your home page and click on the arrow
to the right of the Home button. Select the option labeled Add or Change Home Page
and select Use this webpage as your home page. If you are using Firefox, navigate to
the page you want as your home page. Then click on the icon to the left of the web
address and drag it to the Home toolbar button right next to it. And then click Yes to
confirm.

Clear the cache. The cache stores details of your browsing history as well as images,
video, audio files and cookies. Remove all these and clear the cache to make browsing
faster. Too many temporary files on computer slow down overall computers
performance. Dont know how to clear cache? To clear cache in Internet Explorer 8,
click the Tools button on the Internet Explorer toolbar and select Internet Options.
Click Delete under Browsing History. Next, click Delete one more time. To execute
the same, click Tools, select Options, and then Advanced. On the Network tab, click
Clear Now in the Offline Storage section.

By Disabling Add-Ons, you can experience faster browsing. In many cases it is seen
that the user install add-ons such as extra toolbars, animated mouse pointers without
knowing it. This may also include stock tickers or pop-up ad blockers, etc. all these
add-ons are designed to make your online experience better but sometimes, they
interfere or conflict with other software resulting slow internet performance. To
resolve the issues, you can try starting Internet Explorer without add-ons. Click the
Start button, then click All Programs, click Accessories, click System Tools, and then
click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons). This will resolve the issues.

You can get PC support from a computer tech support provider for resolving any
computer issues. There are many such service providers that offer reasonably priced
tech support round the clock.
