Officers of the Board of Directors Chair—the chair is responsible for overseeing the entire organization and ensuring that it operates effectively. The chair determines the agenda for all Board meetings and presides at all Board meetings. The president and chief executive officer of the organization reports directly to the chair. The chair also serves as chair of the Executive Committee. The chair has the authority to call special meetings of the Executive Committee which is empowered to act between regularly scheduled Board meetings.
