WORK EXPERIENCE & ACHIEVEMENTS:

   12/2006 – 3/2011 – AmerisourceBergen Corp., Corona, CA
  Vice President / Distribution Center Manager
Responsible for gross sales revenue of $2.3 Billion annually, distributing listed chemical, Class II through Class V, all
Rx, OTC, medical supplies throughout Southern California, Arizona, Las Vegas. Distribution, transportation, customer
service, inventory control of products through the latest technology in the market, average production of 170,000 lines per
week, to hospitals, outpatient clinics, surgery centers, alternate care, and independent and retail accounts..…more than
800 customers. Developed the P&L and profit models. Won TOP EBIT Award in FY2010. Working directly with
Costco, responsible for the ONLY automated script filling center in the company, producing 60,000+ scripts/week,
distributing to 85 Costco facilities daily. Rebuilt entire conveyor and order processing systems in the DC ($9 MM in
capital); built the 45,000 sq. ft. fully-automated Costco script-fill facility.


   11/2004 -- 12/2006 -- Cardinal Health, Norcross, GA
  Senior Director of Operations
Responsible for all logistics, transportation, and distribution activities in a Multi-Site operation that includes three
distribution facilities in Atlanta, one in Birmingham, and one in Nashville. Gross sales exceeds $410 Million with a $29
million operations budget. Employee base exceeds 400 employees, with operations supporting over 350 hospitals,
surgery centers, and outpatient clinics throughout three states. Provide support for 24 hour 7 days a week operations,
on-time delivery, transportation, customer service and inventory control, exceeding customer expectations through
pick/pack accuracy at the lowest cost.


    9/1999 – 10/2004 -- Cardinal Health (formerly Allegiance Healthcare), Ontario, CA
  Director of Operations
Responsible and accountable for all activities of a 615,000 sq.ft. distribution center, largest DC in the corporation.
Processed, delivered medical supplies to 300 regional accounts, $375 Million+ annual sales, $26 million operations
budget, 350 employees, operation of 24 hours, 365 days, exceeding customer service requirements. Reduced
operational expense as % to sales by 2.0% over 18 months, or cost reductions and process improvements of more than
$850K. Our facility was recognized for the Lowest labor cost per pick of largest sites throughout the corporation. Article
was written about the success, strength, and dynamics of our facility in the Spring 2002 Corporate Quarterly Magazine.
Winner of Best Overall Performance in BOTH Distribution and Operations for Mega Distribution Center in Cardinal Health
MPS for 2003 and 2004.      Personal Achievement: Outstanding Leadership Operations for FY2003.

    4/1997 - 8/1999 -- Tenneco Automotive, Culver, IN
   Production Manager
Responsible for all manufacturing and production commitments to primary customers: Chrysler, Ford, and Jaguar. $250
Million annual sales. $24 million operating budget, 400+ employees, MIG welding, stamping, 3 dimensional pipe
bending & forming, robotics. Enforced the routine use of the 8-D Corrective Action Process developed by the automotive
industry. Instilled this thoroughly with plant engineering, manufacturing, quality control. Focus team leader of the Lean
Manufacturing Implementation Team and Kaizen Teams. Worked with Chrysler and TA engineering on the
development, implementation, and process sign-off of 4 major exhaust platforms for new model year trucks. $3mm in
new equipment; $4mm in tooling. Rescheduled entire plant shift start/stop times (24 hours), dramatically improving
morale and reducing overtime by $50K a month.
    4/1996 - 4/1997 -- FlexFab / Moxness Corp., East Troy & Racine, WI
   Plant Manager
Responsible for all plant and production requirements of an industrial custom-component silicon rubber manufacturing
operation. Process equipment included extrusion, compression and transfer molding, and milling. 85 employees, 24
hour/3 shift operation. Annual cost of product sales in excess of $14 million. Direct responsibility in the plant-wide
initiative to earn ISO 9001 Certification. Implemented Lean Manufacturing; Improved operational efficiency by 12% in 1
year.


   5/1994 - 3/1996 -- Baxter Healthcare (formerly Allegiance Healthcare), Columbus, OH
  Regional Manufacturing Manager
In an autonomous medical customs product business, responsible for the manufacture/marketing of more than 1000
custom kits comprised of over 15,000 components used in hospital surgical procedures. Value of production to annual
sales in excess of $22 million. Improved aggregate operational efficiency of custom products/procedure-based surgical
and delivery systems from -$10,700 month average in manufacturing variances to $6700 month average. Exceeded
service level, quality & regulatory, DIOH, and manufacturing standards and objectives as prescribed by corporate
directives.


   7/1989 - 5/1994 -- Baxter Healthcare, Jacksonville, TX
  Production Operations Board Manager
Self-Directed Work Team Leader in a precision medical manufacturing (plastics) company, a process that included
injection molding, blowmolding, sheet and tubing extrusion, Robotics. Directly responsible for more than 150 employees
with favorable absorption/earnings of more than $400,000; Value of Production of $13 million. Project Manager of a very
successful valued improvement program, saving over $500,000 annually in material costs. Responsible for all product
design and testing, vendor certification, all support and installation equipment, QC and marketing coordination. I earned
a Patent by U.S. Patent Office for a new product design relative to this project. Responsible for Service Level of FG
Inventory which consistently operated in excess of 98% with production exceeding 42 million units annually. Coordinated
operations and procedures which reduced Work-in-Process inventory from $250,000 to less than $48,000 through JIT /
Kanban principles. Managed new installation including additional robotics and departmental redesign/layout which
increased productivity by 200% and reduced direct labor costs by $187,000 annually. Implemented SPC, JIT, and TPM,
dramatically reducing defects per million (DPM) from an average 2700 to less than 200.


   12/1980 - 6/1989 -- Rank of Captain, United States Army.
Rotary-winged Aviator; Variety of leadership and aviation assignments in numerous locations (U.S. and Overseas.)
Qualified to fly UH-1H, AH-1S, OH-58C Army Helicopters. Unit Maintenance Officer, Test Pilot, leadership assignments
at unit and staff levels (brigade, division.) Branch qualifications: Quartermaster, Aviation.
