Job Description Lead Graphic Design Artist Highly involved in the creative direction of an international marketing department at an exciting company which maintains an in-house ad agency. Company has been in business for 30+ years, an innovative industry leader located in Ann Arbor. Plan, direct, coordinate and create graphic visual materials for promotions, advertisements, packaging, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets such as print, websites and multimedia. One will have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks using a variety of graphic mediums. Specific Job Requirements: Graphic layout and design of corporate promotional and marketing materials including, but not exclusive to website design, paid advertising campaigns, manuals, direct mail pieces, newsletters, brochures, point of purchase displays, multi-media presentations, etc. Plan enhancements to encourage brand awareness. Work to ensure integrity of brand through visual documentation of all artwork produced. A great deal of creativity and latitude is expected. Collaborate on program development and marketing plans Creative direction and design in national trade and consumer publications Responsible for off-site marketing efforts including booth build and arrangements Responsible for preparing reports concerning productivity, changes in workflow, and other factors that effect expenditures and budget. Develop and maintain vendor relations Supervisor of second designer Travel representing brand including delivery of presentations, sales strategies and more Seeking highly creative and resourceful individual with Excellent skills in communication and collaboration Effective working alone or as a cooperative team member Professional in appearance and presentation Strong presentation skills necessary and some travel required. Knowledgeable in the following design software programs: Quark Xpress, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Package, Macintosh Platform CS3, Flash, Dreamweaver. Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in the field. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Must remain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
