           Abstract: In mountain corps, the combat surprise of the enemy is made, first of all, by mobility. For
       this, when the horses are not used, the access of vehicles in difficult access areas is sometimes vital
       because it is a surprise for the enemy, the attacks of special troops of mountaineers can be surprising or
       the mountain artillery companies can supply their troops better.
           This is the reason why my doctoral research has focused on the influences of ground features on the
       capacity of crossing, especially in the cold period of the year, because most of the time mountain rangers’
       corps take action in this kind of conditions.
           The tests were made in real conditions, during the missions and the exercises field, in tough climatic
       and atmospheric conditions, exclusively in mountains in winter.
           The first part points out the importance of basic constructive solutions adopted by off-road vehicles
       for the increasing of crossing capacity, the way it was shown within my research. Into the second part it
       is proved the importance of applying of new kinds of mechanical drive lines, as it is the precessional
       transmission which can improve the adherence between tyre and road by increasing driver car handling.
           The final conclusion is that a good theoretical understanding of practical phenomenon, which could
       be met during exercise fields, can be realized by detail analyzing of wheeling (adherence) characteristic.
       In short, the necessity of obtaining of an as good as possible stability of military vehicles for fulfilling at
       optimal parameters the combat missions imply the optimization of tyre-road interaction, seen as a
       mechanic system.
           The process is more complex in off-road conditions as it usually happens in mountain areas because
       we know that the dynamic performances of vehicles, especially for military vehicles used off-road, are

In munti, inamicul este surprins in primul rand prin mobilitate. Pentru aceasta cand nu sunt folositi caii accesul
vehiculelor in zona este vital pentru surprinderea inamicului. Influenta caracteristicilor solului asupra capacitatii de
rulare a vehiculelor, in special in perioada rece este importanta deoarece de cele mai multe ori trupele de vanatori de
munte actioneaza in astfel de conditii. Ideea de baza a lucrarii este imbunatatirea stabilitatii tuturor vehiculelor de teren,

       By analyzing the dynamic behavior we have in view that the vehicle is running in safe conditions, without
       losing its stability.
       The research starts from the space position of every wheel, considering the torque of every force in
       respect with the position of the weight center.
       This paper analyzes real cases for different kinds of vehicles.

          Abstract: Since the appearance of the Toyota Prius, dual hybrid systems (which operate by speed
       addition principle, via a planetary power-split-device) have been seen as a radical new approach to the
       class of hybrid electric powertrain systems. The authors present two cinematic variants of planetary units
       – based hybrid transmission designs, and discuss the advantages and drawbacks of every solution.
       Forward and backward simulations are performed on two drive cycles, in order to evaluate the right

De la apariţia Toyotei Prius, sistemele hibride duale (ce operează pe principiul adiţiei de viteză, prin intermediul unui
mecanism de divizare a puterii) au fost considerate ca o metodă radicală de tratare a grupului motopropulsor hibrid.
Autorii prezintă două variante cinematice a sistemului hibrid dual (mixt) aşa-numit „single mode”, şi evaluează
avantajele şi dezavantajele fiecărei soluţii. Simulări atât înainte cât şi înapoi sunt efectuate pe două cicluri urbane,
pentru a alege soluţia MHEV optimă pentru hibridizarea unui automobil compact.
                      THERMAL ASPECTS OF THE
              AERODYNAMICS INTERACTIONS OF THE VEHICLES

          Abstract: The paper deals with the dependencies between the main parameters of the atmosphere
      (pressure, temperature, kinematic and dynamic viscosity) and the aerodynamic performances of the cars.
      The emphasizing of the atmospheric factors which having importance on the aero - thermodynamic
      behavior of vehicles can have as result specific solutions for improving of the performances of the cars,
      even in a very early design stage. The stagnation pressure, which determine of the vehicle aerodynamics
      (forces and powers) is expressed in three cases: constant density, constant temperature (isotherm) and
      constant entropy (adiabatic). The study is illustrated by means of a numerical exemplification.

NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN LIGHTING SYSTEM OF ROAD VEHICLES

    Abstract: This paper presents the new technologies those were applied recently in lighting systems of
road vehicles. Litronic gets an important role in the front lighting of new cars. This system requires
headlamp range control or vertical-aim control. New perspectives were opened by PES-reflectors and FF

         CONSIDERATION ON THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE VERTICAL
         FORCES AT THE MOTOR VEHICLE’S NON STEADY MOTION

           Abstract: The number of unknowns is more numerous than the number of equations in the motion
       equations of a motor vehicle. For that reason to determine the distribution of the contact forces with the
       road there are necessary additional suppositions. One of these suppositions takes into account the neglect
       of the car body’s strains. Under the circumstances it is considered that the vertical forces are
       proportional to the displacements on vertically of the suspension fixing points.
           Consequently there are determined the vertical forces at the four wheels.
           There are presented the dependences of these ones depending on: the acceleration on the longitudinal
       direction, the speed and the angular acceleration of the motor vehicle, the mass and the additional weight
       and the distribution of this one by the coordinates compared to the theoretical center of the road vehicle.
           These are particularized the relations obtained for the passing over from the rectilinear motion to the
       circular motion, presenting the variations of the vertical forces depending on the angle between the speed
       of the mass center and the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
           There are also determined the limit values of these forces taking into account that the motion of the
       mass center is circular. Therefore it is observed a burden of the vehicle’s exterior part, overloaded being
       the front wheel exterior to the bend. At the same time it is observed a discharged especially at the back
       wheel interior to the bend.
           It is also determined the critical velocity at which the vertical reactions at the back interior wheel
       becomes null, so appearing the danger of the side slipping.

    În ecuaţiile de mişcare ale unui automobil numărul de necunoscute este mai mare decât numărul de ecuaţii. De aceea
pentru determinarea distribuţiei forţelor de contact cu cale a de rulare sunt necesare ipoteze suplimentare. Una din
aceste ipoteze are în vedere neglijarea deformaţiilor caroseriei. În aceste condiţii se consideră că forţele verticale sunt
proporţionale cu deplasările pe verticală ale punctelor de prindere ale suspensiei.
    Sunt determinate astfel forţele verticale la cele patru roţi. Sunt prezentate dependenţele acestora funcţie de:
acceleraţia pe direcţia longitudinală, acceleraţia pe direcţia transversală, viteza şi acceleraţia unghiulară a automobilului,
masa şi sarcina suplimentară şi distribuţia acesteia prin coordonatele faţă de centrul teoretic al autovehiculului.
    Sunt particularizate relaţiile obţinute pentru trecerea de la mişcarea rectilinie la mişcarea circulară, prezentându-se
variaţiile forţelor verticale în funcţie de unghiul dintre viteza centrului de masă şi axa longitudinală a automobilului. Se
determină şi valorile limită ale acestor forţe considerând că mişcarea centrului de masă este circulară. Se constată astfel
o încărcare a părţii exterioare a autovehiculului, cea mai încărcată fiind roata din faţă exterioară virajului. În acelaşi
timp se costată o descărcare, în special, la roata spate interioară virajului. Se determină de asemenea viteza critică la
care reacţiunea verticală la roata interioară spate devine nulă, apărând astfel pericolul derapării.
          EFFECTS OF THE ADDITIONAL WEIGHT CONCERNING THE
      DISTRIBUTION OF THE VERTICAL FORCES AT THE VEHICLE’S
                             WHEELS

   Abstract: There are determined the vertical reactions at the four wheels starting from the mathematical model of the
road vehicle’s motion. There are considered the masses which additional burden the vehicle, the accelerations on the
transversal and longitudinal direction and the kinematics parameters of rotation.
   There are presented the variations of these forces depending on the parameterization of the trajectory and the angle
between the longitudinal axis and the speed of the theoretical mass center of the vehicle.
   The displacement effects of the position of the mass center about the distribution on the vertical forces are
evidenced.
    These effects are presented in the case of the rectilinear and circular motion, standing out the differences, which
appears in the case when the burden is uniform distributed and does not influence the theoretical mass center position.
   In the case of motion in bend, with constant speed, it is shows that face of the case of vehicle without additional
weight, it is produced an increase of the vertical forces nearer the mass center of the weight.

EFECTE ALE ÎNCĂRCĂTURII SUPLIMENTARE ASUPRA DISTRIBUŢIEI FORŢELOR VERTICALE LA
  ROŢILE AUTOVEHICULULUI

    Pornind de la modelul matematic al mişcării autovehiculului sunt determinate reacţiunile verticale la cele patru roţi.
Sunt luate în considerare masele care încarcă suplimentar autovehiculul, acceleraţiile de direcţie transversală şi
longitudinală şi parametrii cinematici de rotaţie.
    Sunt prezentate variaţiile acestor forţe în funcţie de parametrizarea traiectoriei şi de unghiul dintre axa longitudinală
şi viteza centrului de masă teoretic al autovehiculului. Sunt puse în evidenţă efectele modificării poziţiei centrului de
masă asupra distribuţiei de forţe verticale.
    Sunt prezentate aceste efecte în cazul unei mişcări rectilinii şi al unei mişcări circulare evidenţiindu-se diferenţele
care apar faţă de cazul în care încărcătura este distribuită uniform şi nu influenţează poziţia centrului de masă teoretic.
    În cazul efectuării unui viraj cu viteză constantă se arată că faţă de cazul automobilului fără sarcină suplimentară se
produce o creştere a forţelor verticale mai apropiate de centrul de masă al încărcăturii.
           HYBRID POWERTRAINS OF ROAD VEHICLES – IMPACT ON
                          TRANSMISSIONS

          Abstract: A classification of different hybrid powertrains will be presented. Packaging with regard to
       transmissions will be explained.
          With the additional electric motor the powertrain can be done without a transmission or only a few
       gear steps are necessary. Other concepts replace the move-off clutch or torque converter and keep the
       main transmission without changes.
          Great possibilities has the hybrid with regard to automized manual transmission in order to improve
       comfort and vehicle dynamics.

Se prezinta o clasificare a diferitelor sisteme cinematice de propulsie hibride. Cu un sistem aditional electric se poate
transmite miscarea fara a fi necesar ambreiaj, dar o cutie de viteza aditionala, pastrand structura de baza a sitemului de
transmisie. Un avantaj il reprezinta posibilitatea automatizarii cutiilor de viteze normale, in scopul cresterii confortului
si diamicii vehiculelor.
    A MECHANIC – HYDRAULIC EQUIPMENT FOR THE ENERGY
RECOVERY IN THE CASE OF THE LARGE GOODS VEHICLES (LGV) AT
               THE LONG HILLS DESCENDING

           Abstract: In the paper is presented a possible energy recovery system at the long hills descending in
       the case of large goods vehicles (LGV) which transports big loads, based on a mechanic and hydraulic
       chain. The mechanic part absorbs the movement energy from an axle of the trailer and transmits that to
       some pumps with cams which transforms that energy in hydraulic energy and stocked in to a hydraulic
       accumulator.
           At a highest quantity of accumulated energy, that can be given to a power transmission system from
       the engine to the driving axle which transforms that in useful energy, contributing at power increasing
       and fuel consumption decrease.

 INSTALAŢIE MECANO-HIDRAULICĂ DE RECUPERARE A ENERGIEI ÎN CAZUL PANTELOR LUNGI
                        LA AUTOCAMIOANELE GRELE (TIR)

    În lucrare e prezentat un posibil sistem de recuperare a energiei la coborârea pantelor lungi, în cazul
autocamioanelor grele (TIR-uri) care transportă mărfuri grele, bazat pe un lanţ mecano-hidraulic. Partea mecanică
absoarbe energia mişcării de la una din punţile remorcii şi o transmite unor pompe cu came, cere transformă acea
energie în energie hidraulică şi o stochează într-un acumulator hidraulic.
    Energia acumulată poate fi redată punţii motoare a autotrenului cu ajutorul unor motoare hidraulice, contribuind la
creşterea puterii şi reducerea consumului de combustibil.
     NEW DUAL MODE HYBRID TRANSMISSION DESIGNS FOR SPEED –
              ADDITION HEV PROPULSION SYSTEMS

           Abstract: The authors’ intention is to analyze some new dual hybrid powertrain designs, in terms of
       the power-split-device configuration. The approach focuses on the basic idea that a compound planetary
       device would do better than a simple one, because of the supplementary degrees-of-freedom it adds. The
       authors emphasize on the advantages a compound planetary unit of special kind adds to the overall
       system. Moreover, the disadvantage of adding another (small) electric motor is compensated by the fact
       that, due to the planetary mechanism layout, both electric motors work complementarily, transmitting
       power one to another and enhancing global energetic efficiency. Another advantage is the mechanical
       system compatibility with conventional automatic transmissions, which triggers the analysis of “hybrid”
       or niche (automatic transmissions / power-split-devices) transmission topologies. The authors present
       many cinematic variants of dual-mode hybrid transmission designs, and discuss the advantages and
       drawbacks of every solution.

Intenţia autorilor este de a analiza câteva sisteme de propulsie hibride duale noi, în special legat de configuraţia
dispozitivului de partajare a puterii. Ideea de bază de la care s-a pornit este că un mecanism planetar compus are
potenţialul de a se comporta superior faţă de unul simplu, datorită gradelor de libertate suplimentare adăugate. Autorii
insistă asupra avantajelor adoptării unui mecanism planetar compus de un anumit tip. Mai mult, dezavantajul adoptării
unui al doilea motor electric (de putere redusă) este compensat de faptul că, datorită particularităţilor mecanismului,
ambele maşini electrice lucrează complementar, schimbând putere între ele şi îmbunătăţind randamentul global al
sistemului. Un alt avantaj este compatibilitatea sistemului mecanic cu cel găsit în transmisiile automate convenţionale,
ceea ce determină posibilitatea analizei topologiilor „hibride” sau de nişă (transmisii automate/mecanisme compuse de
partajare a puterii). Autorii prezintă mai multe variante cinematice de sisteme hibride duale dual-mode, şi discută
avantajele şi dezavantajele fiecărei soluţii.

          Abstract: New technologies are always appearing in automotive lighting system. Through this, the
       LEDs technology becomes more and more present. The advantage of light-emitting diodes and the
       continuous improvement of the luminous intensity of the LEDs are leading to increased use of these
       luminants, particularly in the area signal lamps. Thanks to development progress in the field of high
       performance LEDs, the luminous available advanced into areas which make possible to implement signal
       functions with the aid of light emitting diodes in head lamps. The main factors which make this possible
       are new conceptions in the area of thermo-management and the chip structure of the LEDs. The paper
       analyses the evolution, working process, extention of colors, advantages and the applications of LEDs
       technology in the automotive lighting system.

                 NOI TEHNOLOGII IN SISTEMUL DE ILUMINARE AL AUTOMOBILELOR

Noi tehnologii apar continuu in sistemul de iluminare al automobilului. Printre acestea tehnologia cu led-uri devine din
ce in ce mai prezenta. Avantajul ledurilor luminiscente si imbunatatirea continua a intensitatilor luminoase conduc la
utilizarea crescuta a acestor surse de lumina in special in domeniul semnalelor luminoase. Datorita progresului
dezvoltarii in domeniul performantelor inalte ale led-urilor, este posibila utilizarea lor nu numai in domeniul semnalelor
luminoase ci chiar si in domeniul farurilor. Principalii factori care fac posibil acest lucru sunt noile conceptii in
domeniul termo managementului si structura tip chip a led-urilor. Lucrarea analizeaza evolutia, procesul de functionare,
extinderea culorilor, avantajele si aplicatiile tehnologiei led-urilor in sistemul de iluminare al automobilului.

Datorita directivelor europene cu privire la reducerea zgomotului, trebuie devoltate filter noi, cum ar fi
ventilatoare de putere redusa instalate in sistemul de racier al autovehiculelor si aplicatii stationare. In
acest scop cercetarile sunt indreptate spre un noi filtru de aer cu amplitudinea undelor modificata.
Lucrarea prezinta rezultate experimentale si compara performantele a doua noi filter de aer.

reale de teren, a razei dinamice a rotii de automobil si a modului in care aceasta este influentata de diversi parametrii,

           EVALUATION OF THERMAL COMFORT IN AUTOMOTIVE

         Abstract: The optimization of the passenger’s compartment conditions consists in some means with
     subjective effect, having the purpose of achieving the comfort state needed to the driver but also to the
     passengers. Achieving the comfort state is conditioned by the way the ambient microclimate ensures the
     sensation of thermal comfort to the persons inside the automotive.
         It is well known that one of the requirements to be fulfilled is that a person be in thermal neutrality as
     predicted by the comfort equation. This is described and evaluated by the PMD - PPD indices, which take
     into account the six parameters: activity, clothing, air temperature, mean radiant temperature, air
     velocity and humidity.
         The present paper reports on some of the typical aspects and problems in the assessment of thermal
     climate in vehicles depending on different parameters.

                         VEHICLE MOTION TRACKING
                      BY MEANS OF CROSS-CORRELATION

    Abstract: (shorter) We designed and implemented a traffic monitoring system, which can be used to
compute the micro- and macro-parameters that characterize a car traffic flow. We used a surveillance
video camera for the image acquisition and we implemented our own application that detects and tracks
the vehicles. For a specific video sequence we compute offline the average velocity of the vehicles.
    For the vehicle detection we used a robust algorithm based on feature extraction and learning. Once
detected, a vehicle is tracked in the following video frames by computing the cross-correlation between
the vehicle image and the image regions in a pre-defined search area. The maximum cross-correlation
value indicates the new position of the vehicle. We present our results, conclusions and future plans.

   Abstract: The safety of autovehicles drive is influenced by the autovehicle road stability. The
autovehicle road stability is determined by the wheels adhesion, the position of center of gravity,
road clearance, wheel track, axle base, steering, the load repartition on axes etc. The wheels
adhesion is a fundamentally parameter which trough it can establish the limits for acceleration and
breaking capacity but also and for dynamic stability of autovehicle in curves.
   The present paper propose an real time concept-system to improve the autovehicles wheels
adhesion based on study about de load distribution on every wheel.

         SISTEM CONCEPT DE IMBUNĂTĂŢIREA ADERENŢEI ROŢILOR UNUI AUTOVEHICUL

Rezumat: Siguranţa conducerii unui autovehicul este influenţată în mod important de stabilitatea pe şosea (ţinuta de
drum) a autovehiculelor. Ţinuta de drum a unui autovehicul este de asemenea influenţată în mare măsură de aderenţă,
de poziţia centrului de greutate, de garda la sol, distanţa dintre osii, direcţia, repartizarea greutăţii pe osie etc. Aderenţa
(frecarea de aderenţă) este o mărime fundamentală prin care se stabilesc limitele pentru capacitatea de accelerare şi
frânare dar şi stabilitatea dinamicii autovehiculului în curbe. Lucrarea propune un sistem concept de creştere a aderenţei
în timp real a autovehiculelor pe baza analizei modului de distribuţie a încărcării statice pe fiecare roată a
autovehiculului. Sistemul este „low-cost” şi poate fi implementat cu succes pentru automobile din clasa mică spre clasa
compactă.
     RUSHLESS DC AND SWITCHED RELUCTANCE MOTORS FOR FAULT TOLERANT
                      ELECTRIC POWER STEERING SYSTEMS

           Abstract: The automotive industry today is faced with ever-increasing electrical power demands that
       are stretching the capabilities of present on-board power supplies. The use of electrical and electronic
       features to enhance customer comfort, convenience and safety, such as electronic automatic climate
       control, entertainment systems, antilock brakes (ABS) and traction control (TC) systems, contribute to
       exponential growth in power demand and also to size and complexity of the wiring harnesses as well. . An
       example of these new systems is the electric power steering (EPS). It is mechanically simpler than a
       hydraulic system, meaning that it should be more reliable. The paper presents a comparative study of two
       specific adjustable speed drives based on brushless DC (BLDC) and switched reluctance (SR) motor

   MOTOARE DE CURENT CONTINUU FĂRĂ PERII SI CU RELUCTANŢĂ VARIABILĂ COMMUTATE
  ELECTRONIC PENTRU SISTEME DE DIRECŢIE ASISTATĂ ELECTRIC TOLERANTE LA DEFECTE
Industria automobilului este astăzi una din cele mai dinamice ramuri industriale, cunoscând o dezvoltare fără precedent.
Utilizarea echipamentele electrice, electronice, informatice, a sistemelor electromecanice în industria automobilului
duce la sporirea confortului, a siguranţei pasagerilor şi a traficului în general. Astfel de sisteme sunt sistemele de
direcţie asistate electric, mult mai simple şi cu gabarit mai redus în raport cu cele hidraulice sau electrohidraulice.
Introducerea acestui tip de sistem de direcţie în echipamentul auto presupune însă dezvoltarea unor sisteme de acţionare
electrică fiabile şi, mai ales, tolerante la defecte. Această lucrare prezintă două tipuri de motoare electrice ce pot echipa
sistemele de direcţie asistate electrice: motorul de curent continuu fără perii, respectiv motorul cu reluctanţă variabilă
comutat electronic. Avantajele celor două motoare sunt în primul rând gabaritul redus şi robusteţea. Lucrarea prezintă
câteva rezultate ale analizei câmpului electromagnetic utilizând un program de calcul de câmp, JMag.
       DYNAMIC ANALYSES OF THE BRAKE DISK PROTECTOR USING
                 FINITE ELEMENT METHOD (FEM)

           Abstract: This paper presents an analysis done in dynamic regime to identify the problematic areas,
       for a brake disk protector fitted on the front axle of a motor-car. Using the modal analysis, there were
       determined the self frequencies of vibrations and then compared with the values imposed by the
       specification notes of the product. The CAD model was done using CATIA V5 and the calculus using

      ANALIZA DINAMICA A PROTECTORULUI DISCULUI DE FRANA UTILIZAND METODA CU

Rezumat:
Lucrarea prezinta o analiza efectuata in regim dinamic pentru identificarea ariei de probleme ridicate de protectorul
discului de frana ce echipeaza puntea fata a unui autoturism. Utilizand analiza modala au fost determinate frecventele
proprii de vibratie, care au fost apoi comparate cu valorile impuse in caietele de sarcini ale produsului. Modelul CAD a
fost realizat utilizand programul CATIA V5, iar calculele s-au efectuat utilizand Metoda Elementului Finit, prin
programul MSC/NASTRAN.
ON CAR SQUAT BEHAVIOR GIVEN BY THE STANDARD SUSPENSION
                  SHOCK ABSORBERS

   Abstract: The squat behavior decreases the body-ground clearance, increasing the risk to strike the
body by the ground unevenness. Staring for the squat phenomenon specific at vehicles using standard
shock absorbers, observed on hydropulse benches and demonstrated theoretically, the paper presents a new
shock absorber solution, called shortly VZN, eliminating this effect and giving other advantages. This
reason the paper presents a simulation showing squat behavior for both kind of shock absorbers and
    a VZN design solution. The self-adjustable shock absorber VZN, an intelligent shock absorber, realized
without electronics or mechanisms, grant with European Patent EP1190184B and Romanian Patent
    118546, is much better than standard ones because confers possibilities of stepwise adjustment of

     PREDICTION OF WHEEL TRACTION PERFORMANCE BY ANALYSIS OF
                    TIRE-GROUND INTERACTION

           Abstract: The paper presents a traction model for the driving wheel of the U-650 romanian tractor.
       Tire deflection under load was taken into account by replacing the real wheel with an imaginary one,
       with a larger radius. The model was developed in order to calculate the net traction force and traction
       efficiency of the wheel, as defined by the ASAE S296 standard; the net traction coefficient was also
       evaluated. It was assumed that the maximum traction force of the tire was limited only by the soil
       maximum shear strength, as defined by the Mohr-Coulomb criterion. A variable shear area, depending
       upon wheel slip, was taken into account. The theoretical results were compared with the experimental
       data; the field experiments were developed using the U-650 tractor, equipped with the P2V plow.
       Variation of plow width and depth allowed different traction forces and drive wheel slip to be obtained.
       Drive wheel slip and net traction force were measured directly, while the gross traction force and
       traction efficiency were determined with a formula derived from ASAE S296 standard. Keywords: wheel

     PREDICŢIA PERFORMANŢELOR DE TRACŢIUNE ALE ROŢII PRIN ANALIZA INTERACŢIUNII SOL-
                                                           ROATĂ
Lucrarea prezintă un model pentru tracţiunea roţii cu pneu a tractorului U-650. Deformaţia roţii sub sarcină a fost luată
în consideraţie prin înlocuirea roţii reale cu una imaginară, cu diametru mai mare. Modelul permite determinarea forţei
de tracţiune şi a randamentului de tracţiune al roţii, aşa cum sunt acestea definite în standardul ASAE S296, find
determinată şi forţa tangenţială specifică. S-a presupus că forţa de tracţiune maximă este limitată de rezistenţa la
forfecare a solului, definită prin intermediul criteriului Mohr-Coulomb. Aria petei de contact roată-sol a fost considerată
variabilă, fiind influenţată de patinarea roţii motoare. Rezultatele teoretice au fost comparate cu datele experimentale,
obţinute prin încercări de tracţiune realizate cu agregatul format din tractorul U-650 şi plugul P2V; modificarea
adâncmii arăturii şi a lăţimii de lucru a plugului a permis obţinerea datelor referitoare la forţa de tracţiune şi patinarea
roţii motoare. Forţa de tracţiune netă şi patinarea au fost măsurate direct, în timp ce randamentul de tracţiune al roţii a
fost determinat prin calcul, folosind o relaţie derivată din standardul ASAE S296.

           Abstract: In this paper is presented a study for the envelope’s properties settlement regarding the
       phenomenon of hydroplaning. The phenomenon of hydroplaning is calculable with the motional
       equations of the viscid fluid in laminar regime for thin layers of fluid sub missed to crush. There is
       established the water stop’s evolution function and the critical velocity of hydroplaning whereat the tyre

      ECUATIILE FENOMENULUI DE AQUAPLANARE LA ROTI CU ANVELOPA AVAND BANDA DE
                      RULARE DIN BLOCURI DE PROFILE IZOLATE

       Rezumat: În lucrare se prezintă un studiu pentru stabilirea proprietăţilor anvelopei referitor la fenomenul de
aquaplanare.
       Fenomenul de aquaplanare este calculabil cu ajutorul ecuaţiilor de mişcare a fluidului vâscos în regim laminar
pentru straturi subţiri de fluid supuse la strivire.
       Determinarea formulei de calcul a vitezei critice de aquaplanare oferă posibilităţi de comparaţie a anvelopelor
din punct de vedere a acestui fenomen, iar prin introducerea funcţiei de evoluţie a penei de apă de sub anvelopa la
rularea pe cale udă se oferă posibilitatea exprimării scăderii aderenţei la cale a anvelopei în funcţie de viteza de rulare a
roţii.
  A POSSIBLE HYDRAULIC RECOVERY/CONVERSION/STOCKAGE OF

           Abstract: In this paper the authors studies the possibility of the hydraulic recovery / conversion /
       stockage of the energy resulted from the elastic strain of the tire under the vehicle weight at the uniform
       horizontal plane movement.
           The recovery hydraulic scheme and its implementation in the vehicle design, but mostly the stocked
       hydraulic energy valorization, the working liquid additional weight, the vehicle head resistance
       increasing, are resolvable, complex problems, which assess technical-economical studies, new options,
       investments etc.
           The recovery hydraulic elements have high functional characteristics: good efficiencies, high

      O POSIBILĂ RECUPERARE / CONVERSIE / STOCARE HIDRAULICĂ A ENERGIEI REZULTATE

                      DEPLASAREA PLANĂ ORIZONTALĂ UNIFORMĂ

       În lucrare autorii studiază posibiliatea recuperării / transformării / stocării hidraulice a energiei rezultate din
deformaţia elastică a pneurilor sub acţiunea greutăţii vehiculului la deplasarea plană orizontală uniformă.
       Schema hidraulică de recuperare şi implementarea ei în construcţia autovehiculelor, dar mai ales valorificarea
energiei hidraulice stocate, greutatea adiţională a lichidului de lucru, creşterea rezistenţei la rulare a vehiculului, sunt
probleme de rezolvat, complexe, care impun studii tehnico-economice de caz (aplicate), opţiuni noi, investiţii etc.
       Elementele hidraulice de recuperare, moderne, au caracteristici fucţionale ridicate: randamente bune, fiabilitate
mare, greutăţi şi gabarite mici, preşuri de cost acceptabile.
       Trebuie estimate cu precizie consecinţele asupra suspensiei elastice, amortizării oscilaţiilor, intervenţiile
constructive necesare, amplasarea rezervorului de lichid ţi a acumulatorului hidraulic, accesul rapid şi operativ la ele,
controlul, reglajul, aparatura necesară etc.
     CONSIDERATIONS CONCERNING THE CALCULATION OF
 INTERMEDIARY STEERING AXLE USING FINITE ELEMENT METHOD

          Abstract: This paper presents the results of a study done with the intermediary steering axle fitted on the
      steering system of a motor-car. The CAD model was done using CATIA V5 and the calculus using FEM by
      MSC/NASTRAN. The calculus were done considering the testing conditions imposed by the specification notes
      for product manufacturing. The results obtained were compared with those obtained by experiments done with

      CONSIDERAŢII PRIVIND CALCULUL AXULUI VOLAN INTERMEDIAR UTILIZÂND METODA

Rezumat:
Lucrarea prezintă un studiu efectuat asupra axului volan intermediar de la sistemul de direcţie al unui autoturism.
Modelul CAD a fost realizat utilizând softul CATIA V5, iar calculele au fost efectuate utilizând metoda elementelor
finite prin intermediul softului MSC/NASTRAN. Calculele au fost realizate ţinând cont de condiţiile de încercare
prevăzute în caietele de sarcini cu privire la realizarea produsului. Rezultatele obţinute au fost comparate cu cele
obţinute experimental pe acest tip de piese.

           Abstract: This paper presents the possibilities of using the Quality Assurance Matrix in order to
       reduce the non-conformities within the manufacturing processes. There are emphasized two factors
       representing the protection level provided: the general quality level within the workplace (preventing the
       non-conforming products to pass downstream) and the general quality level of the factory (preventing
       delivery of non-conforming final products outside the factory). So, this matrix allows us to evaluate the

         UTILIZAREA MATRICEI DE ASIGURARE A CALITATII                                    PENTRU       REDUCEREA
       NECONFORMITATILOR IN PROCESELE DE FABRICATIE

    Lucrarea analizeaza posibilitatile pe care le ofera utilizarea matricei de asigurare a calitatii pentru a oferi o cat mai
mare protectie impotriva producerii neconformitatilor in procesele de fabricatie. Sunt evidentiati cei doi factori care
constituie nivelul de protectie asigurat: nivelul general de calitate la locul de munca (impiedica trecerea produselor
neconforme catre posturile din aval), respectiv nivelul general de calitate al uzinei (impiedica livrarea produselor finale
neconforme in afara uzinei). Astfel, matricea permite evaluarea nivelului de protectie (impotriva non-calitatii) a
clientului intern si a clientului extern.

Lucrarea prezintă unele studii şi cercetări in domeniul condiţiilor de funcţionare ale sistemelor de frânare cu
ABS, pornind de la ecuaţiile generalede mişcare şi luând în considerare diverse metode de liniarizare a ecuaţiilor
aferente acestora. Modelele matematice au fost verificate şi cu ajutorul Simulink, rezultând curbe de exploatare

      and to mechanical clearances at shaft couplings induce flip-flop and dead space like nonlinearities.
      Simulation with SIMULINK identifies impossibility of synchronization and thus of downchange of gears

   Rezumat: Fenomene de stick-slip la nivelul conurilor de sincronizare datorită frecării umede şi uscate alternative
precum şi datorită jocurilor din îmbinările canelate induc neliniarităţi de tip flip-flop, respectiv de spaţiu mort.
Simularea prin SIMULINK identifică imposibilitatea sincronizării datorită acestui fapt şi implicit imposibilitatea
schimbării treptelor în jos. Ca efect conducătorul auto un poate beneficia de frâna de motor la coborârea pantelor.

   Abstract: Wear processes of auto vehicle lead at decrease of functionally parameters (motor power,
  traction force), at growth specific fuel of consumption, and decrease (reduction) useful load who's able to
  transport.
       This process is cause of decrease hour productivity of auto vehicle who depend, through another
   factors, by useful transported mass. Establishing certain coefficient of rentability of transport activity, we
   shall able to deduce a limit of outgoings of transport for each type of auto vehicle. Once touch this level,
   transport with that auto vehicle become unprofitable and, so economical unjustifiable. This paper
   proposes to determinate limits admissible of parameters through analytical and graphical method:
   traction power, engine moment and effective power, in ratio with useful mass,

                     DETERMINAREA MOMENTULUI STARE TEHNICĂ LIMITĂ PENTRU
                                 AUTOVEHICULUL RUTIER

          Procesele de uzare ale autovehiculelor conduc la scaderea parametrilor lor functionali (puterea
motorului, forta de tractiune), la creşterea consumului specific de combustibil si la scaderea sarcinii utile pe care
acestea sunt capabile să le transporte. Acest proces este si cauza scaderii productivitatii orare a autovehiculelor
care depinde, printre alti factori, si de masa utila transportata. Stabilind un anumit coeficient de rentabilitate al
activitatii de transport, se poate deduce un nivel limita al cheltuielilor pentru fiecare tip de autovehicul in parte.
          Odată atins acest nivel, transportul cu autovehiculul respectiv devine nerentabil si, deci, nejustificat din
punct de vedere economic. Lucrarea de fata propune o metodă care determina pe cale analitica si grafica valorile
limită admisibile ale parametrilor: forţă de tractiune, moment motor si putere efectivă, în raport cu masa utila, Ft
lim = f(mu), Me lim = f1(mu) si Pe lim = = f2(mu).
        THE STUDY OF AUTOMOTIVES OSCILLATIONS IN OBSTACLES

           Abstract: In this paper is presented a equivalent mechanical model of the vehicle useful to find the
       vehicle movement and also is presented the matriceal form of mathematical model who are determinate
       for this mechanical model. This mathematical model is solved by means of the computers and are
       presented, under the map form, the results in case of linear movement with 30km/h velocity and the
       vehicle passes with both wheels from the left side over an obstacle.

          STUDIUL OSCILATIILOR AUTOVEHICULELOR LA TRECEREA PESTE OBSTACOLE
Rezumat: Lucrea prezinta un model mecanic echivalent autovehiculului si un model matematic, sub forma matriceala,
corespunzator acestui model mecanic. Acest model matematic poate fi rezolvat cu ajutorul calculatorului, iar in lucrare
se prezinta solutiile sistemului pentru cazul unei deplasari in linie dreapta,cu viteza de 30km/h, in cazul in care rotile de
pe partea staga trec peste un obstacol. Modelul matematic se dovedeste astfel util pentru studiul oscilatiilor
autovehiculului, studiul maniabilitatii si stabilitatii acestuia.
   ON THE AERODYNAMICS OF THE HIGH SPEED VEHICLES

   Abstract: In this paper, using a high speed vehicle as example, there are studied the contributions of
the main structural components of the car on total drag and lift, using the facilities offered by a
professional CFD code, in a range of speed between 50 to 300 km/h. The results provide solutions for the
optimization of the body of vehicles, even in a very early design stage, the aerodynamic design process
being accelerated.

                     STUDIU DESPRE AERODINAMICA AUTOMOBILELOR
                                           DE VITEZĂ MARE
    Rezumat: În lucrare sunt prezentate rezultatele unor procese CFD efectuate pentru determinarea
influenţelor pe care le au principalele componente structurale ale unui automobil de viteză asupra
caracteristicilor aerodinamice ale acestuia. Studiul a fost efectuat pentru şase valori ale vitezei, în
intervalul 50 – 300 km/h şi evidenţiază posibilităţi de optimizare a aerodinamicii vehiculelor de curse,
încă din faze incipiente ale procesului de proiectare al acestora.

       the USA and Japan by automatic gearboxes. Both types of gearboxes have specific advantages and

       robust and sporty characteristic. The advantages of an automatic gearbox are, for example, a high level
       of comfort, above all in gear changes, as there is no interruption in tractive power.

    Rezumat: In perioada actuala lumea transmisiilor este dominata in Europa de cutiile de viteze manuale, iar in USA

manuale, sunt, de exemplu, gradul mare de eficienta, robustetea si spritul sportiv. Avantajele cutiei de viteze automate,

       LOGAN ECO HYBRID - PLUG IN HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE

      Abstract: In this paper the researches performed at the Research Centre “Automotive Engineering” at
      the University of Pitesti for the development of the LOGAN ECO Hybrid prototype based on the LOGAN
      MVC. It is equipped with EcoMatic Hybrid System, organized as a serial- parallel hybrid with two shafts
      and torque addition. In order to lower the restrictions when adapting it on the standard vehicle Logan
      MCV and also for purposes of research flexibility, it is divided in two parts (motorized hybrid): the
      thermal equipment EcoMatic LPG fitted with a CVT, mounted in the front side and the electrical
      equipment EcoMatic ELECTRA featuring asynchronous electric and a constant ratio transmission,
      mounted in the rear side. The research included in the EcoLOGIC PROGRAM is scheduled in 2006-
      2008.

MCV. El este echipat cu sistemul hybrid de propulsie EcoMatic Hybrid, organizat dupa solutia serie-paralel cu doi

        Abstract: The modern era, marked by the production forces development and by
     increasing the social division of work, of production, of consumption and of the goods
     circulation, has determined the modernization and the improvement of the roads and
     vehicles, and thus has reached the distinction between the transportations and other
     economical activities, the former one becoming an distinct and independent branch. In
     this way, it has become obvious that this field is very important in the well developing of
     human activities, and any distortion or defection of it will cause major undesired
     changes in other fields of production and consumption, of the economy in general. The
     tail of this activity, the pollution, is getting stronger day by day, affecting a lot of
     population, and thus it has to be something done in this direction. Keywords: mobility

               NEVOIA DE MOBILITATE VERSUS POLUAREA VEHICULELOR
   Epoca modernă, caracterizată prin dezvoltarea forţelor de producţie şi adâncirea diviziunii
sociale a muncii, a producţiei, consumului şi circulaţiei mărfurilor, a determinat modernizarea şi
perfecţionarea mijloacelor şi căilor de transport, astfel încât s-a ajuns la delimitarea
transporturilor faţă de alte activităţi economice, devenind o ramură de sine stătătoare. A devenit,
astfel, evident că această verigă, are o importanţă covârşitoare în buna desfăşurare a activităţilor
umane, orice dereglare sau defecţiune a acesteia producând perturbaţii majore în celelalte
compartimente ale producţiei şi consumului, ale economiei, în ansamblu. Reversul acestei
activitati, poluarea, este din ce in ce mai puternica, afectand o mare parte a populatie, astfel ca
trebuie sa se actioneze in directia reducerii acestei.
          CONSIDERATIONS ABOUT DECONGESTIONING URBAN
       ENVIRONEMENT BY RESTRICTIVE NORMS AND PROMOTING

          Abstract: The paper presents a method of evaluating an ideal ground surface for
       personal motorvehicles to be utilised by the majority of people in condition of known
       urban caractheristics of a settlement: density of population, buildings, streets, parking
       places, etc.. The purpose is to decongestionate the environement, establishing vehicle
       taxation strategies. It is given an example of taxation depending on the vehicles ground
       surface, stimulating people to buy adequated microvehicles or utilise public
       transportation. There are also presented such microautomobile solutions, actually not
       available as serial products on the market, and an approach of their prototyping by

CONSIDERATII PRIVIND DECONGESTIONAREA MEDIULUI URBAN PRIN NORME RESTRICTIVE SI
                        PROMOVARE DE MICROAUTOMOBILE

Rezumat: Articolul prezinta o metoda de evaluare a unei suprafete ideale la sol pentru autovehicule individuale care sa
fie utilizate de majoritatea locuitorilor unei asezari urbane cu caracteristici date: densitate a populatiei, cladiri, strazi,
locuri de parcare, etc. Scopul este de a decongestiona mediul, prin stabilirea unor strategii de taxare a vehiculelor. Se da
un exemplu de taxare in functie de suprafata la sol a vehiculelor, care sa incurajeze cumpararea de microautomobile
adecvate sau utilizarea transportului public.
Sunt de asemenea prezentate atari solutii de microautomobile, actualmente indisponibile ca produse de serie pe piata, si
o abordare a realizarii unor prototipuri prin transformare de ATVuri adecvate. Cuvinte cheie: urban, taxare, suprafata la

    HOUSEHOLD WASTE COLLECTION OPERATIONS AND EXPENSES
             OPTIMIZATION IN HARGHITA COUNTY

           Abstract: The paper deals with theoretical and experimental aspects regarding the collection and
       transportation operations of the household waste generated in Harghita County. In the first step of the
       research activity a mathematical model for accurate evaluation of the quantities and composition
       structure of the generated household waste is studied. The developed mathematical model is oriented to
       determinate the final value of the all waste collection and manipulation expenses, which cost is minimized
       at last through special mathematical methods and operations. The computational operations are
       facilitated through the developed software toolkit presented in the paper, too.

    OPERAŢII DE COLECTARE A DEŞEURILOR MENAJERE ŞI DE MINIMIZARE A CHELTUELILOR DE
                            COLECTARE ÎN JUDEŢUL HARGHITA

    Lucrarea tratează aspecte teoretice şi practice privind operaţiile de colectare şi de transport a reziduurilor menajere
generate în judeţul Harghita. În prima etapă a activităţiilor de cercetare un model matematic cu privire la evaluarea clară
a cantităţiilor şi structurii compoziţionale a deşeurilor menajere este atent studiat.  Acest model matematic este
orientat spre determinarea valorii finale a cheltuelilor de colectare şi manipulare a deşeurilor generate în judeţ, cost care
se poate minimiza apoi cu ajutorul unor metode matematice speciale. Toate aceste operaţii de calcul şi evaluare sunt
facilitate prin intermediul pachetului software dezvoltat şi prezentat în lucrare.
    DESIGN METHODOLOGY FOR OPTIMAL PLACEMENT OF LOCAL

           Abstract: The paper presents a design methodology regarding the optimal placement of local deposits
       and regional stations for an environmental-friendly household waste collection system in Harghita
       County. In the last decades with an important economical development of the region, the management
       and administration of the generated huge quantity of household waste represents an important challenge
       for the local authorities. In this reason a new, and economically optimized waste collection system with
       an important storage capacity it is necessary to be designed and implemented in the county. The
       theoretical and experimental aspects presented in the paper are focused to offer design methodologies
       and various solutions for implementing this new household waste collection system.

      METODĂ DE PROIECTARE PENTRU AMPLASAREA OPTIMĂ A DEPOZITELOR DE REZIDUURI
                   MENAJERE ŞI STAŢII REGIONALE ÎN JUDEŢUL HARGHITA

    Lucrarea prezintă o metodă de proiectare privind amplasarea optimă a depozitelor locale şi a staţiilor regionale
pentru un sistem de colectare ecologică a reziduurilor menajere generate în judeţul Harghita. În ultimele decade prin
intensificarea activităţiilor economice în regiune, cantitatea mare de reziduuri menajere generate reprezintă o provocare
managerială importantă pentru autorităţiile locale. În acest context, se impune proiectarea unui sistem nou de colectare a
deşeurilor, optimizat economic şi cu o capacitate de stocare importantă. Aspectele teoretice şi experimentale prezentate
în lucrare sunt focalizate pentru oferirea unor metode de proiectare şi soluţii practice pentru implementarea acestui nou
sistem de colectare a reziduurilor menajere.
       MATHEMATICAL MODEL AND EVALUATION METHOD FOR THE
         ENVIRONMENT IMPACT OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT, WITH
                  APPLICATION IN PITESTI CITY

           Abstract: This paper presents an original method for evaluating the amount of chemical pollutants
       exhaust in the environment by the vehicles providing public transport. There were taken into
       consideration the technical characteristics of vehicles, the load of buses, the real characteristics of the
       public transport traffic in Pitesti city during rush hours in the bus stations very affected by the pollution
       and the maximum pollutants concentrations imposed by the regulations. The proposed method it is
       applied and permits to evaluate easy and rapid the pollution level, and also to select an optimal variant
       of buses from the environment impact point of view.

   MODEL MATEMATIC SI METODA DE EVALUARE A IMPACTULUI UNUI SISTEM DE TRANSPORT

    Rezumat: Lucrarea prezinta o metoda originala pentru evaluarea cantitatii de noxe chimice emise in atmosfera de
catre autovehiculele ce efectueaza transportul in comun. La stabilirea metodei au fost luate in considerare
caracteristicile tehnice ale vehiculelor, sarcina transportate de acestea, caracteristicile reale ale traficului transportului
public in municipiul Pitesti in timpul orelor de varf, in statiile de autobuz foarte afectate de poluare, precum si valorile
maxime ale poluarii impuse de normative. Metoda propuse este utilizata pentru evaluarea usoara si rapida a nivelului de
poluare, precum si pentru selectarea variantei optime de autobuze din punct de vedere al protectiei mediului.

    Abstract: Environment de-pollution by treating the ELV represents a very actual activity, taking into consideration
that the Romanian automotive park is quite old. As a consequence it is a need for developing national strategies, and
this imposes deployment of some zonal centers for dismantling and treating ELV. This paper presents the objectives that
must be pursued while analyzing the environmental impact represented by ELVs, which impose the deployment of such
zonal centers.

STUDIUL DE IMPACT ASUPRA MEDIULUI PENTRU DEZVOLTAREA UNUI CENTRU ZONAL PENTRU

    Rezumat: Depoluarea mediului prin tratarea VSU reprezinta o activitate de mare actualitate, avand in vedere ca in
Romania parcul de autovehicule este destul de imbatranit. Ca urmare, este necesar sa se dezvolte o strategie nationala
pentru realizarea unor centre zonale in care sa se realizeze dezmembrarea si tratarea VSU. Lucrarea prezinta obiectivele
care trebuie urmarite in cadrul analizarii impactului asupra mediului reprezentat de VSU, care impune infiintarea unor
astfel de centre.
                THE EVOLUTION OF STANDARDS IN EMISSIONS AND

          Abstract: The state`s institutions must dispose of highly efficient methods to control pollution. It is
      necessary to settle the level of emissions that can be released in the air by different pollution sources and
      the maximum concentration of polluters in the locality`s air.
          Technological improvements that reduce pollution have been compensating by an increased traffic as
      a result the exhaust gas pollution is still raising.
          Motor vehicles, especially cars, are the number one source of air pollution in Europa`s urban areas.
          It is estimated that by the year 2050 the globe population will reach 8.1billions and the number of
      cars 3.4 billions. If in this period of time nothing in done the earth will not have enought energy to sustain
      the people and the cars.

          EVOLUTIA STANDARDELOR PRIVIND EMISIILE SI TEHNOLOGIILE

Rezumat: Instituţiile statului trebui să dispună de metode foarte eficiente de control al poluării. Este necesar să se
stabilească nivelul emisiilor care pot fi eliberate în atmosferă de către diferitele surse de poluare, precum şi
concentraţia maximă de poluanţi din atmosfera localităţilor.
Cuceririle tehnologice menite să reducă poluarea au fost copleşite de explozia traficului, astfel încât poluarea
atmosferei este încă tot în creştere.
Autovehiculele, în special autoturismele, sunt sursa numărul unu de poluare atmosferică în zonele urbane ale Europei.
Se estimează că în anul 2050 populaţia globului va atinge 8.1 miliarde iar numărul de automobile 3.4 miliarde. Dacă
în tot acest timp nu se va face nimic Pământul nu va avea suficientă energie pentru omenire şi autovehicule.

ASPECTS REGARDING THE INFLUENCE OF TRAFFIC PARAMETERS
              ON THE POLLUTION LEVEL

     Abstract: This paper outlines aspects regarding traffic and pollution level for Brasov city. Several city
 centre junctions have been analyzed for traffic volumes and pollution emission levels for one hour in
 different day periods.
     The measurements realized for each city traffic junction have been collected and the results have been
 graphically correlated for the entire trip.

ASPECTE PRIVIND INFLUENTA PARAMETRILOR DE TRAFIC ASUPRA NIVELULUI
                           DE POLUARE
    Rezumat: Această lucrare evidenţiază aspecte privind nivelurile de trafic şi poluare în municipiul.
 Mai multe intersecţii din centrul oraşului au fost analizate din perspectiva volumului de trafic şi al
 nivelului de emisii poluante pe intervale de câte o oră în diferite perioade ale zilei.
    Măsurătorile realizate pentru fiecare intersecţie din oraş au fost colectate iar rezultatele au fot corelate
 grafic pentru întreg itinerariul de studiu.
  ANALYTICAL EVALUATION OF THE AIR EXCESS COEFFICIENT AS

         Abstract: The air excess coefficient has been analitically determined as function of the experimentally
      measured exhaust gas composition in the D-2402.000 engine using alternativelly sunflower oil based and
      diesel fuels. One studies if the air excess coefficient values thus calculated belong to the 1.3÷2.5 range

   Rezumat: In lucrare se determină analitic coeficientul de exces de aer în funcţie de compoziţia gazelor de evacuare
măsurate experimental în cazul motorului D-2402.000 alimentat alternativ cu combustibili pe bază de ulei de floarea
soarelui şi motorină. Se urmăreşte dacă volorile coeficientului de exces de aer, astfel calculate, se încadrează între
limitele 1.3÷2.5 (specific motoarelor cu aprindere prin comprimare).

                THE ADVANTAGES OF USING THE SINTERED MATERIALS
                 FROM METALLIC POWDER USED TO M.A.I. FOR THE
                          ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

           Abstract: The aim of the research is to study and obtain new materials for sub-assemblies and
       machine-tools specific for the internal combustion engines, with upgraded properties of thermal transfer
       as compared to the alloys used on a large scale. The synthesis of some “atomic clusters” from metals by
       the method of the condensation in gas, followed by the in situ consolidation, under high vacuum
       conditions, led to the production of a new class of materials with ultra-fine grains. These     materials
       have special properties, often upgraded as compared with the conventional materials. From this reason,
       a real science of both metallic and non-metallic powders metallurgy has developed in the last 20 years.
           The use of these materials in industry determines economies of non-ferrous metals and makes possible
       the simplification of the manufacturing technology and reduces the production losses. The subsequent
       upgrading of these materials will be oriented towards the optimization of the static strength.

              AVANTAJELE FOLOSIRII MATERIALELOR SINTERIZATE DIN PULBERI
                        METALICE UTILIZATE LA M.A.I. PENTRU
                             PROTECŢIA MEDIULUI

    Lucrarea de fata isi porpune sa prezinte studii privind obtinerea de noi materiale pentru subansamble si masini
unelte specifice motoarelor cu ardere interna, urmarind imbunatatirea proprietatilor de transfer termic comparativ cu
cele ale aliajelor folosite pe scara larga. Sinteza unor „clusteri atomici” nanometrici din metale prin metoda condensării
în gaz, urmată de consolidarea in situ, în condiţii de vid înalt, a condus la obţinerea unor clase noi de materiale cu
grăunţi ultrafini. Aceste materiale posedă proprietăţi deosebite şi adesea îmbunătăţite faţă de materialele convenţionale.
Din acest motiv, în ultimii 25 ani s-a dezvoltat o adevărată ştiinţă a metalurgiei pulberilor atât metalice cât şi
nemetalice. Utilizarea acestor materiale in industrie determina: economisirea metalelor neferoase, simplificarea
procesului tehnologic precum si reducerea pierderilor de productie.
Scaunul de supapa sinterizat din pulberi metalice, are compozitia proiectata pentru reducerea uzurii si pentru a functiona
in conditii optime la temperaturi intre 300 - 500oC. Se urmareste studierea influentei procentului de cupru asupra
conductivitatii termice a materialului, analizand comparativ cele trei probe de compozitii diferite.
    In prima parte sunt prezentate cateva dintre metodele specifice de obtinere a pulberilor metalice, precum si
proprietatile acestora.
    A doua parte are ca obiectiv descrierea generala a materialelor sinterizate.
    Ultima parte a lucrarii prezinta avantajele reciclarii reziduurilor asupra mediului, prin conservarea resurselor
naturale.
    In Europa, rezervele naturale de materiale metalice au fost epuizate progresiv astfel incat au mai ramas foarte putine
in zilele noastre. Astfel, putem spera ca vom pute lasa copiilor nostri ca mostenire o planeta cu resuse, un loc curat si
sigur.
    ASSESSMENT OF HEAVY METAL CONTAMINATION IN ROADSIDE
           SURFACE SOIL FROM E576 EUROPEAN ROAD

     Abstract: Level of environmental pollution with heavy metals (Pb, Cd, Cu, Zn and Cr) from road traffic
     was investigated in roadside surface soil using inductively plasma mass spectrometry. Average
     concentrations of aqua regia extractable metals in soil samples along E576 road were: Pb, 24.2; Cd,
     0.63; Cu, 53.0; Zn, 183; and Cr, 0.080 mg/l. Periodic assessment of the accumulation of trace elements
     in urban areas with intense traffic is important in order to evaluate the rate of environmental pollution.

  MONITORIZAREA POLUĂRII CU PLUMB ŞI CU ALTE METALE GRELE ÎN SOLUL DE-A LUNGUL

    Abstract: Au fost investigate nivelul de metale (Pb, Cd, Cu, Zn, Cr) grele din solurile din apropierea drumului
 european E576 folosind spectrometria de masă cuplată inductiv cu plasmă. Valorii medii ale concentraţiei soluţiilor
extrase în apă regală, în apropierea drumului european au fost: Pb, 24.2; Cd, 0.63; Cu, 53.0; Zn, 183; and Cr, 0.080
 mg/l. Investigarea periodică a acumulării de metale grele în zonele urbane cu traffic intens este importantă pentru a
                                            evalua situaţia poluării mediului.
         NOISE ENVIRONMENT ALONG CLUJ-NAPOCA TRAMWAY

          Abstract: During some previous studies, the tram was identified by the inhabitants of Cluj-Napoca
      city as a very annoying noise source. Complaints focused on day interference with working activities and
      also on disturbing of rest and night sleep. The paper intent is to describe the acoustic environment
      generated by the urban traffic and influenced by the presence of the tram noise in Cluj-Napoca. Noise
      data, obtained by measurement along the tram route, are examined in order to evaluate the current
      situation and to assess the potentially negative effects on human health. The study was conducted in the

Ambientul sonor datorat circulaţiei tramvaiului în Cluj-Napoca

   Rezumat: Pe parcursul unor studii anterioare, zgomotul datorat tramvaiului a fost indicat de
către locuitorii oraşului ca unul dintre factorii deranjanţi atât pentru activităţile desfăşurate pe
parcursul zilei, precum si pentru perioada de relaxare şi somn din timpul nopţii. Lucrarea
intenţionează să identifice ambientul sonor generat de traficul urban şi influenţat de circulaţia
tramvaielor în Cluj-Napoca. Datele măsurătorilor de zgomot sunt examinate pentru a evalua situaţia
curentă şi pentru a determina potenţialele efecte negative asupra populaţiei. Studiul s-a desfăşurat în
contextul realizării hărţii de zgomot a oraşului.
             RESEARCH REGARDING THE ROAD TRAFFIC INFLUENCE
                         THROUGH THE NOISE

           Abstract: In the paper are presented the research carried out under the financial support of the
       research grant CEEX acronym MOBURBIS, regarding the influence of the on line traffic count through
       the noise mapping. Considering a micro area, the research team observed at the same time the traffic
       characteristics and the noise produced. Using the experimental techniques the recorded results was
       computed in order to identify the factors which generate the noise peaks.


            CETCETARI PRIVIND INFLUENTA TRAFICULUI RUTIER ASUPRA ZGOMOTULUI
Rezumat. In lucrare se prezinta rezultatul cercetarilor dezvoltate prin intermediul grantului MOBURBIS, finantat prin
programul CEEX, referitor la influenta inregistrarilor de trafic in timp real asupra hartilor strategice de zgomot.
Cercetarea s-a desfasurat in conditii de trafic reale, intr-o locatie definita anterior, urmarindu-se atat efectul diferitelor
categorii de vehicule asupra zgomotului cat si factorii care influenteaza aparita valorilor maximale.
