 HUMAN HEALTH HAZARDS - ACUTE:
 INHALATION:
 May cause irritation of mucous membranes.
 SKIN CONTACT:
 May cause irritation with prolonged contact.
 EYE CONTACT:
 Can cause mild irritation.
 INGESTION:
 There may be irritation to the gastro-intestinal tract with nausea and vomiting.

 4. FIRST AID MEASURES
 INHALATION:
 Remove to fresh air, rest, treat symptomatically. Obtain medical attention.
 SKIN CONTACT:
 Remove contaminated clothing. Wash off affected area immediately with plenty of water.
 EYE CONTACT:
 Immediately gently irrigate with clean water for at least 15 minutes. Move eyeball and keep eyelids
 wide open and apart whilst irrigating. Obtain medical attention.
 INGESTION:
 Do not induce vomiting without medical advice. If conscious washout mouth and give one pint of
 water to drink. Obtain medical attention.




 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
 EXTINGUISHING MEDIA:
 Water spray, Dry powder, Carbon dioxide, Foam.
 UNSUITABLE EXTINGUISHING MEDIA:
 Do not use water jets.
 FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARD
 Oxides of carbon (under fire conditions).
 SPECIAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT FOR FIRE FIGHTING:
 In case of fire, wear a full face positive-pressure self contained breathing apparatus and protective
 suit.




 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
 PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS:
 Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water
 and seek medical advice. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water. Use personal
 protective equipment recommended in Section 8.
 ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS:
 Do not allow to enter sewers or water courses. If spillage does enter sewers or water courses,
 immediately inform the appropriate water authorities.
 METHODS FOR CLEANING UP:
 Contain and absorb with sand or vermiculite and mix well. Collect up and remove to a safe place until
 disposal. Wash site of spillage thoroughly with water. Assistance can be obtained from waste disposal
 companies.

 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
 HANDLING:
 Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid use of natural rubber and neoprene.
 STORAGE CONDITIONS:
 Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place. Store separately from oxidizers. Storage
 for more than two years is not recommended.
 CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL COMPATIBILITY. Compatible with:
 Equipment for storage and application should be constructed from stainless steel, polyethylene, PVC,
 acrylic resin or nylon.




 8. EXPOSURE CONTROL/PERSONAL PROTECTION
 OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS

 ENGINEERING MEASURES
 General ventilation is recommended.
 RESPIRATORY PROTECTION:
 If significant mists, vapours or aerosols are generated an approved respirator is recommended, filter-
 type A.
 HAND PROTECTION:
 PVC gloves, Nitrile gloves. Most glove materials are of low chemical resistance. Replace gloves
 regularly.
 SKIN PROTECTION:
 Standard protective clothing. and thoroughly wash the affected area. Launder contaminated clothing
 before reuse.
 EYE PROTECTION:
 Chemical splash goggles.
 HYGIENE RECOMMENDATIONS:
 Keep an eye wash fountain available. Keep a safety shower available. Wash hands at breaks and at
 the end of the shift. If clothing is contaminated, remove clothing and thoroughly wash the affected
 area. Launder contaminated clothing before reuse.
