                                          Visa Requirements for US Citizens




TOURIST:
1. Valid, Signed US Passport, with at least six (6) months remaining validity, with at least three
        (3) blank visa pages.
2. One (1) enclosed Visa application form.
3. One (1) recent passport size photo.
4. Travel itinerary or copy of airline tickets
5. Letter of invitation and contact address, can be faxed.
6. Hotel confirmation
7. Copy of travelers checks, $100 per week of stay



BUSINESS:
1. Valid, Signed US Passport, with at least six (6) months remaining validity, with at least three (3) blank
    visa pages.
2. One (1) visa application form.
3. One (1) recent passport size photo.
4. Travel itinerary or copy of airline tickets
5. Business cover letter from company in the US.
6. Letter of invitation from Nigerian Company

*NOTE: International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever.
    (this is not needed to process the visa, however it is needed on arrival into Nigeria.)




VALIDITY OF VISA:


Visa will be valid for 90 days with a stay up to 30 days.
Processing time: 1 or 3 working days in Consulate

 1. Valid, Signed US Passport, with at least six (6) months remaining validity, with at least three (3) blank
 visa pages.
 2. One (1) regular visa application form.
  3. One (1) online visa application form. https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/visa/freshVisa
  4. One (1) recent digital passport size photo, should be uploaded with the online application in #3
  5. Business cover letter from company in the US, make sure it is addressed to: Embassy of Nigeria/Visa
Section/Washington DC
 6. Letter of invitation from Nigerian Company
 7. Cable Approval from Immigration in Nigeria
 8. PVS order form




 STR- Long Term Work:
 1. Valid, Signed US Passport, with at least six (6) months remaining validity, with at least three (3) blank
 visa pages.
  2. Four (4) online visa application forms. https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/visa/freshVisa
  3. Four (4) recent digital passport size photos, should be uploaded with the online application in #2
  4. 4 copies of expatriate quote approval from Nigeria or STR approval from Nigeria
 5. 4 copies of all credentials and certificates. 4 copies of a recent resume/letter of employment letter of
 acceptance.
 6. Business cover letter from company in the US, make sure it is addressed to: Embassy of Nigeria/Visa
 Section/Washington DC
 7. Letter of invitation from Nigerian Company
 8. Cable Approval from Immigration in Nigeria
 9. PVS order form
 10. If the spouse is traveling with the applicant he or she must provide valid proof of matrimony.
 11. Yellow fever vaccination required if arriving from an infected area.
