Fish and plant seed fatty acids have antiinflammatory and
immunomodulating properties that make them of potential use in the
treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. A better understanding of their effects on
the immune system ultimately may lead to the development of more benign
       therapy for rheumatoid arthritis patients.
