Progress Tracker – our philosophy
Progress Tracker is designed to
• Work with your existing SIMS MIS, so that data is
  kept safe.
• Give back to teachers ownership of the data.
• Allow teachers to see the whole school picture, not
  just their part in it.
• Provide school leaders with useful analyses, not
  pretty colours.
                                      progresstracker.org.uk

Progress Tracker – components
• Use SIMS to manage pupils, groups and NC
assessments and as the backup store for pupil
  assessments.
• Use Progress Tracker for teachers to record NC
  assessments. Provide instant feedback through
charts and printouts to help teachers monitor each
  child’s progress.
• Use Progress Tracker Review Module to provide
managers with cohort and pupil group analyses for
  review and evaluation.

  3. A whole school democratic view for
  teachers
Each teacher can see any pupil’s assessments to date in any
subject. Foundation subject teachers can look at their pupils’
literacy or numeracy. Assessments are shared so that the pupil
can benefit from teachers’ wider knowledge. The software protects
  historical assessments from accidental change.

Progress Tracker uses SIMS.NET marksheets so that you can pick
up classes, teaching groups or year groups for each subject. While
other tracking packages can only take data from SIMS, Progress
tracker can also feed it back. Progress Tracker ensures that all
pupil assessment data is stored securely in SIMS.NET and stays
  with the pupil.
