KELLER MEDICAL, INC. ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF REVOLUTIONARY
                    BREAST IMPLANT DELIVERY DEVICE
KELLER FUNNEL™ POISED TO BE NEW STANDARD OF CARE FOR GEL IMPLANT DELIVERY

STUART, FL—Keller Medical, Inc. (KMI) officially launches the KellerFunnel™, a silicone
gel implant delivery device used in breast augmentation surgery, at the ASPS 2009
conference held in Seattle, WA October 24-26. The company introduced the
KellerFunnel™, a single use, cone-shaped and hydrophilic coated nylon device in late
August during a soft launch period and was well received by key plastic surgeons
nationally.

When asked to compare usage of the device with the methods currently used, Board-
Certified plastic surgeon Dr. Soler-Baillo of Miami, FL said “The Keller Funnel™ is an
ingenious tool, our standard of care is antiquated, and it is about time someone finally
figured this out.”

The Keller Funnel™ permits plastic surgeons to quickly and easily propel silicone implants
into position with much less time and effort than today’s standard of care. With the
funnel, surgeons can insert prefilled breast implants into a surgical pocket using a “no-
touch” technique that eliminates direct contact of the implants with the patient’s skin.
Transfers of biofilms are believed to be a leading cause of capsular contracture which
affects 1 in 10 patients. Other device benefits include allowing surgeons to place silicone
implants through the same smaller size incision used for saline implants and reducing
implantation stress.

According to the FDA, stress damage to the implant shell during implantation is
considered to be one of the causes of intracapsular implant rupture. The traditional
insertion method, whereby the implant is forced through an incision with the tip of the
surgeon's finger, causes significantly higher local stress than is caused with KellerFunnel™
usage. The KellerFunnel™ minimizes stress on the implant by dispersing a much smaller
force over a much larger surface area. By decreasing stress on the implant, long term
intracapsular rupture rates may be reduced along with costly reoperations to replace
failed implants.

“I liked using gels, but not the cumbersome traditional insertion technique that could
fatigue the physician and cause trauma to the implant” said South Carolina-based co-
founder Dr. Kevin Keller. “In addition, the funnel helps reduce trauma to surrounding
breast tissue thus reducing pain and speeding recovery times. Patients find smaller
incisions and scars aesthetically more pleasing too”.

During the R&D phase, Keller Medical, Inc. enlisted a select group of surgeons to work
with prototypes, and received overwhelmingly positive feedback. “The first time I used the
Keller Funnel™, I knew I did not want to return to conventional insertion methods,” said
Florida-based plastic surgeon and company investor, Jason N. Pozner, M.D. “Using the
funnel saves time on every procedure, and gives me the ability to keep the implant free of
contact with the patient’s surrounding tissue. This is a huge advantage in reducing the
risks of infection and contamination.”

In the U.S., more than 350,000 breast augmentations are performed annually, creating a
$1 billion segment within the plastic surgery industry. Keller Medical, Inc. is positioned to
help surgeons respond to patient requests for silicone breast implants. Initial surgeon
demand has already exceeded sales projections and the company expects revenues to
continue the pattern of rapid growth as KMI’s network of independent sales
representatives begin a nationwide surgeon outreach program.

Keller Medical, Inc., a privately held company, was co-founded by Board Certified plastic
surgeon Kevin Keller, M.D. and Howard Preissman, a medical device executive and
biomedical engineer. Both U.S. and international patents are pending. For more
