Pathways
Issues:
Too many falling off the bridge
Too many unsuccessful at intake
Too many “early leavers” soon after entry
Pathways
Solutions needed
To make sure learners know and
understand what it takes to get into credit
To make sure learners are well enough
prepared to be successful at entry
To make sure learners are well enough
prepared to stay the course in the type of
programming they choose.
Pathways
Requirements:
Increased knowledge and understanding on
our part
Partnerships between LBS and Credit to
create seamless transition pathways with
adequate support
Flexibility within established practices to try
out new ideas
Pathways
Some partnerships are experiencing
success
We are learning from them and developing
a model we can recommend to others.
Objective:
To show you what we have discovered and
get some feedback from you
