COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TRAINING INSTITUTE (CDTI) TENGERU
APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO BACHELORS DEGREE PGROGRAMMES FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2009/2010
Applications are invited from qualified Tanzanians wishing to pursue an undergraduate degree in one of the Community Development related programmes offered at the Institute for the academic year 2009/2009 which starts in September 2009. Admission Requirements Only applicants who meet the following criteria need apply. A. Direct Entry Qualification Applicants under this category must be holders of a. Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) or equivalent, with at least THREE credit passes b. Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) or equivalent, with not less than 4.5 points obtained from TWO principal passes or more, based on the following scale: A = 5; B = 4; C = 3; D = 2; E = 1; S = 0.5 B. Equivalent Entry Qualification Applicants should be holders of a. Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) or equivalent, with at least THREE credit passes b. Ordinary Diploma in Community Development or equivalent obtained from CDTI Tengeru or other training institutions recognized by the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE). The Diploma should be of second class or higher, or of average B or above, in case of nonclassified diplomas.
