In a typical scenario, a homeowner leaves home for work or shopping and forgets to hit the remote door closer. Or perhaps school-age children open the door to play and then move to a different part of the neighborhood, leaving the garage open, unattended and vulnerable.
The device incorporates special infrared sensors and innovative design architecture to sense when the door is open. The device’s internal timer immediately begins and unless interrupted by the normal remote closer, initiates the door closing process.
For homeowners who want garage access while doing yard work or other activities, an override button allows them to leave the door open. When the homeowner closes the door, it automatically reactivates the automatic closing function in Auto Closer. Auto Closer was designed to solve the open garage door problem.
INSTALLATION & WARRANTY:
Attach reflective conspicuity tape to reflector plate. Peel off adhesive backing from the conspicuity tape and affix to side of reflector plate facing the Auto closer unit. Tape should be aligned to cover most of the rectangular portion of reflector plate. Connect power to the Auto Closer. The Auto Closer uses a 110 Volt AC / DC power adapter. Determine the Auto Closer mounting location. The Auto Closer uses an infrared emitter/detector to determine the position of the garage door. To ensure correct operation, the Auto Closer unit must be no more than 36 inches from the reflector plate when the door is fully open. Wire the Auto Closer to the garage door opener. Read your garage door opener manual to determine where the wall button terminals are located on the power head. Closer. Run the wire from the I-Opener terminal to the Auto Closer. LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY What does the warranty cover? Any defect in parts and product workmanship that arises from normal household use in accordance with the Installation Manual and User’s Guide. How long does the warranty last? Parts are warranted for life* and labor is warranted for 90 days from the date of purchase. *Lifetime warranty only applies to the original owner. The product must be registered using the form at the end of this manual or the original proof of purchase must be shown to receive warranty service. Who gets the warranty? This warranty is limited to the consumer who originally purchased the product. How does the warranty service work? If the Auto closer is defective, the Installation Distributor will repair or, at their option, replace it. If they repair your product, They may use new or reconditioned replacement parts. If they choose to replace your Auto Closer, they may replace it with a new or reconditioned unit of the same or similar design. During the first 90 days from the date of purchase, all parts and labor are free of charge. After the first 90 days from the date of purchase, all parts are free and a nominal diagnosis charge will be collected for labor. How is warranty service obtained? We suggest that you retain your original packing materials in the event you need to ship your Auto Closer. Ship the unit to: The Original Installation Distributor. Include your name, address, telephone number, proof of date and place of purchase, and a description of the problem. Or contact your local installation distributor for service. What does the warranty not cover? This warranty does not cover installation, defects resulting from accidents, misuse or abuse, unauthorized repair or modification, fire, flood, other natural disasters or acts of war.

Every Distributor Agent and Installer has the opportunity to develop and earn residual recurring monthly revenue based on the performance standards developed and implemented by Garage Guard. The Distributor Agents receives a one time fixed amount per New Distributor Agent or Distributor Installer that they sign up with Garage Guard and every new Distributor Agent or Distributor Installer They Sign Up. There After a Fixed Percentage of every order every Distributor Installer purchases will be credited to your account as outlined in the Distributor Agreement. Residual Payments are processed the last working day of each month and paid within 5 working days. Distributor Identification #. Every Distributor Agent and Distributor Installer will be assigned an official accounting identification account number for processing orders. All Distributors will receive a monthly ledger of all activity of sales by Agents, Installers and RMR Residuals.

Pricing & Product Options. The cost of the components to the customer are set and established by Garage Guard. All components pricing CAN NOT be changed either by the Distributor Agent or the Distributor Installer as indicated in the Distributor Agreement. Labor for Installation is Established at preset hourly rate by component that can not be altered by the Distributor Agent or Distributor Installer. Additional labor can be charged for installation outside of our product installation guideline at the preset hourly rate established in the Distributor Agreement.
REFERENCES: Develop long lasting relationships with your customers. Build a client list of references of Installations and Dealer Agents. Always ask for a referral from every new customer. Always solicit the neighbor hood where you just sold and installed an Auto Closer.
SOLISITATION: You are allowed by Hawaii State Law to solicit residential communities for purposes of selling the product to the individual home owners. You are not allowed to at any time place any advertisement in a Federal Mail Box either fixed to the property or centralized locations. You are allowed to ring door bells, demonstrate the system and leave a flyer at the door of the premises.
