SOCIAL ISSUES- MAKING OUR FUTURE BETTER
                              MEDIA CAMPAIGN ASSIGNMENT
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Select your group wisely. Remember, each student must contribute to the project equally. All students
must speak during the oral presentation. The maximum number of people in a group is three.
2. You will be writing (individually) an evaluative report after this project on the same topic. Be sure to
keep all of your research finding for that second step.
3. Using the internet, magazine articles, books, videos etc. to find information on your topic. Remember to
keep all of the necessary information to complete a works cited.
4. Decide on the relevant information that you will present to the class. Each member should take point-
form notes. All research should be recorded in your own words; plagiarism will not be tolerated.
5. Remember that the goal of your presentation is to TEACH the class information about your topic.
6. Your target audience is the class and your teacher. Every element of your presentation must be
professional, appropriate and mature. Groups that do not adhere to these guidelines will be penalized.
7. Prepare a 15-minute presentation for the class.
8. Each group member must submit a written reflection as well. (See below for detailed instructions.)
9. Under no circumstances will a group be able to postpone their presentation due to the absence or lack of
preparation of a group member. The show must go on… the individual will be penalized, but not the
   group.
