NEWS TO NOTE FROM THE HCC
Spring is here, and though your thoughts may have turned to spring plantings and yard
clean-up, we don’t want you to forget the great program opportunities that the HCC has
planned for the next few months.

We are working on a newsletter template that we can send out monthly, but this format will
have to do until we have that up and running. With the newsletter, we not only want to keep
you up to date on what is happening in the business community on our end, but we also want
you to send us information about special things that you, as members, are doing at your
businesses that you would like to promote – special events, member-to-member discounts,
sales, promotions or news of note. This can be a great tool for all of us, so please feel free to
send me your information. My email is fairlady7@rochester.rr.com.

Congratulations to Community of Excellence award winners and nominees

Over 300 people attended the 23rd annual Community of Excellence Awards dinner that was
held at Locust Hill Country Club on May 5. The purpose of the dinner was to honor the
contributions of the businesses and individuals in Henrietta who contribute to the economic
welfare and the quality of life in the community. 40 nominations were received - a record
