                            • China Children Insurance Foundation
was highly regarded by the Ministry
of Civil Affairs and was documented in
                              governmental reports
                            • The CCTV prime time news has
broadcasted the founding of CCIF to
                              the entire nation

  Liying Song, General
  Secretary of CCTF is
 announcing the launch of
 China Children Insurance
       Foundation
Dr. Heidi Hu, Managing Director of
                              China Children Insurance Foundation
                                     introduces our mission

                                CCTF China Children Insurance Foundation
Why is CCIF established?
Children are particularly vulnerable to …however, a nation-wide systematic
the threat of critical illnesses and financial assistance for Children with
accidental injuries… needs for major medical treatment

• There are 30K-40K new • Many of these children are not
leukemia cases in China each covered under the current
year, and about half of them social security and welfare
    occur among children system.

• Critical illnesses like Leukemia • More than 70% of these
have claimed many young and children cannot be treated
promising lives, leaving properly simply because their
bitterness and grief to their family cannot afford the
    families expenses for medical
                                                   treatment.

Within this context, CCTF recently established the
               China Children Insurance Foundation (CCIF)
to help children with critical illnesses/injuries.

Recent benefit coverage
highlights and future plans
Ø By March 31, 2009, CCIF has already completed two batches of benefit distribution
covering 41,478 students in 113 schools of 38 districts in three provinces hit by
  the “5-12” earthquake in 2008.

Ø Among them are 1,077 orphans from the earthquake. The distribution work has
been continuing and is expected to achieve the goal of covering 60,000 children
from “5-12” earthquake areas the by the end of May.

Ø There are 570,000 orphans registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs. These
orphans will be one of CCIF’s focused group to receive benefits of future donations.

Ø In addition, CCIF plans to provide our exclusive insurance product to more than
600,000 children between the ages of 3 to 15 in Zhang Jia Kou of Hebei
  Province.

Ø We will gradually cover many more children in the other areas by the end of 2009.
And we hope to leave no child behind across China in a reasonable timeframe.
