To view the Task Pane, go up to the View menu and drag down to Task Pane. The Task Pane is a central location for many of the tasks you will use while working with Word ’03. To begin using the Task Pane, go up to the Getting Started menu and you will see you have many options. Clicking the Search Results item will let you access help for using Word ’03. You would just type in your question and the results would appear. You can access Clip Art. You can also open a new document. In this section of the Task Pane, you can open blank documents, start email messages, or go to the Office Online site and access templates. Another option is to open a document on your computer.
