SANTA CLARA, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/16/10 -- TiE Silicon Valley announced today that Dr. K. Anji
Reddy will provide the keynote address at TiEcon 2010, the world's largest conference for entrepreneurs, at
the Santa Clara Convention Center, May 14-15. TiEcon brings together world-class entrepreneurs and leaders
from business, technology, venture capital, and media for two days of education, networking and business
building. The theme of TiEcon 2010, "It's in your DNA," emphasizes the qualities inherent in all successful
entrepreneurs.

"I am excited to be speaking at TiEcon 2010," says Dr. Reddy, a celebrated entrepreneur. "This is a
must-attend conference for anyone who is doing business or wants to do business in Silicon Valley. I look
forward to sharing the lessons I have learned through what has been an amazing twenty plus years in the
evolution of the pharmaceutical industry and the confluence of technological advancement, the forces of
globalization and growth in consumer demand." Dr. Reddy, a pioneering pharmaceutical entrepreneur, has
built Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (NYSE: RDY) into India's second largest pharmaceutical company which
manufactures and markets a wide range of pharmaceuticals in India, Europe, Russia and the U.S. The
company has more than 190 medications ready for patients to take, 60 active pharmaceutical ingredients for
drug manufacture, diagnostic kits, critical care and biotechnology products.

"We are honored to be joined by an illustrious group of entrepreneurial leaders this year," said Gary Gauba, a
TiEcon 2010 Convener, a TiE Board Member and Chairman & Managing Director of RKG Ventures, a
leading investment firm specializing in early stage disruptive technologies. "Following last year's focus on
bold entrepreneurs pulling us out of the Great Recession, we now turn to the success stories and qualities of
these leaders. There is no better way to launch a new BioSciences track at TiEcon than having Dr. Reddy
deliver a keynote at the largest gathering of entrepreneurs from around the globe."

TiEcon 2010 will feature session tracks focused on key industry segments, including a new BioSciences
session, combined with last year's highly successful Cleantech, Internet, Software and Wireless tracks.
Building on their past popularity, these expanded sessions will provide entrepreneurs with the tools, insights,
connections and inspiration to launch a business, grow a team, or join a budding start up. TiEcon 2010 will
also include three popular programs introduced in 2009:

-- TiE50 -- The 50 Most Enterprising Startups. For the second year TiEcon will showcase 50 of the companies
that shine because of their edgier ideas and smarter operations -- the TiE50. Spanning across five industry
segments, TiE50 will feature companies that have the potential to follow in the footstep of last year's winners,
Mint acquired by Intuit, Kazeon acquired by EMC, and Mimosa acquired by Iron Mountain.

-- PowerConnect -- For the second year, TiEcon will feature five premium networking programs with a new
discussion-reception format connecting attendees, industry experts, entrepreneurs, and VCs in each of the five
industry segments.
